Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because it involves Artificial Intelligence and data science and yes it's true that our curriculum prepares us for the real world applications and are further Academy pursuits and there are a lot of areas should be improved like the teaching aids and the method of teaching and the frequency and timing of exams are like there are three internal exams that take place within the 6 months of a semester and one end semester examination the difficulty level of that exams is from moderate to difficult.

Internships Opportunities

4

The common company that visit our colleagues are HCL Accenture of Wipro TCS IBM and many more and the role that are offered on internship with stipend is for data analyst and data entry and many more And this happens basically I provide from 10000 to 15000. The projects and outcomes to clarify the task is given by the faculties of the respected subject and the projects are given by the companies and we have to complete it according to their criterias

Placement Experience

3

The student should be in the last semester of their courses and the companies that recently visited our campus are Wipro HCL Accenture and many more, the highest package given by the company is 25 lakhs per annum and the average is 10 lakh per annum, the percentage of students getting placements are around 65 to 74% and my plans after completing the degree is I will continue with my higher studies I'll complete my MCA online and do the job respectively.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees I paid was for the first year it was Rs 100000 tuition fees and 1000 admission fee and 5000 caution money, there are financial AIDS for student belonging to SC and ST backward categories as well as for the students who belongs to economically backward section and there are scholarship for student to have passed CUET exams.

Campus Life

4

The annual festival is the name does Anubhuti and Technical festivals are like Viveka hackthon and many more the technical fest usually takes place after two or three month and the accessibility of books and journals available in the library is quite good. There are many clubs and portals that are run by the student like there are clubs for singing, dance and many more which are usually impacting the students life very well they build up the confidence and they even get a chance to set the stage by themselves.

Admission

I applied to Lucknow University but due to some family issues I haven't given the exam and the college that confirmed my admission is Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University University where I am studying right now and the eligibility of this college is you need to pass 12th examination with 50% of marks in any field or any area you are studying and the admission process is very simple you just have to fill out the admission form and there are no exams that will be taken because it's a private University.

Faculty

2

The faculty to student ratio is 1:50 and the faculty to student relationship is not so good and not all the teachers are approachable I wouldn't take the names of faculty I don't like and there are total three internal exams that take place within the semester and one end semester, the difficulty level of the exam is from moderate to difficult and the student basically don't fail in the exams or there are only few student who fail.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) are decent but not exceptional. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus, along with some startups, and offer roles mainly in IT support, development, and trainee positions. The highest package offered is around 8–10 LPA, while the average package ranges between 4–5 LPA, and the lowest is around 2–3 LPA. Approximately 60–70% of students get placed, while others either go for higher studies or off-campus opportunities.

Reviewed on Apr 7, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

Placement Experience:

Around 70–80% of students from the course get placed through campus recruitment drives every year. The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and other reputed firms. A good number of students also secure internships in companies related to their field, which helps in gaining practical exposure and industry experience. The common roles offered include software developer, data analyst, trainee engineer, and support roles, providing a solid start to students’ careers.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

All Faculties are good and everyone has a lot of experience in their work also support students. Faculty qualification is best and their way of teaching and explaining is also good. Mid-term exams are very good and they are also very tough.
