A Student of KDK

My friends at this college doing their course recommended me that pursuing degree here would be wise . Their experience was pretty positive. Real world problems are discussed and experience is gained from working in labs and workshops. Not much improvement is need other than making more events in a year so students get to enjoy and socialize amidst the busy year. Frequency of exams is not very high as only a month before semesters ,exams are conducted.

Many internships in pune,mumbai other cities are avaliable in big software companies like acmegrade, UNILIVER, Amazon etc and are provided to students with high CGPA and given special stipends and benefits etc

The Detailed fee structure for a btech student of any course in general is ?116000 per year(tuition fess). The caution fees is ?10000. Admission Fees is ?1000. Other fees( uniform, lab etc) is arohnd ?4000. May Vary according to Categories. ST students have Scholarships available of MahaDBT which provides tuition amount directly to college administration. No fees is paid by category students of ST. This tuition amount is paid fully by general and other Categories getting discounted rates by applying to Scholarship. I pay ?0 fees with help of financial aid of MahaDBT Tribal Development Department for ST category students. 100%scholarships are available depending on student eligibility and category.

Their are many different events and social gathering held in college throughout the year. Navomesh, Shiv Jayanti , other department wise programs , graduation,farewell etc. Cricket tournament and chess and almost all indoor and outdoor games are held intercolleges . Clubs are also present. There is vast extracurricular activites life here.

I applied to 3 colleges ycce, ramdeo baba, government colleges but due to not getting specific branch i had to apply to other places and In KDK college i was eligible for CSE branch and giving preference to branch over college, analysing placements i took admission in KDK. Admission process is very simple, a form is filled with attached documents and original marksheets eyc are attached to it and admission fees is paid by online/offline then form is verified in college premises. Where the final admission are done and student recieves their uniforms as well as other things.

Students in each department are in number ranging from 100 to 115. Faculty members are in a very large number as er subject with assistant professor also present. So there is no craming of student burden on professor which ensures proper teaching. There are exams like first sessional, second sessional and preuniversity exams held in college to prepare for university semesters. Difficulty levels are increased and resources are provided in all exams. All faculties are kind and good and personally none of them seem to cause any harm even if they scold it's simply a way for student to work hard and not settle for mediocrity.

There were not much interview for admission. The staff and faculty was kind and asked about my expectations and my willingness to work hard. Process of admission was fairly easy and staff handled it very well and gave parents assurance. There was no need for preparation for anything during admission.

Two cafeteria are present during all day. Library is a very hall with every engineering book present which can be taken by student for studies. Campus closes in the evening and hostels close at 9pm. There is almost zero night life if student live in hostels as there are safety guidelines and protocols.
