College is overall good as it provides it's college brand name after the completion of the course which is very helpful while making the resume for applying the jobs. The college's strictness help us to stay focused towards our goal.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is very good as it helps to gain knowledge of various fields. Exams are held in semester structure,i.e., after every six months. It consists of both internals and externals. Internals consists of mid sems and projects.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are held in the last year of the course. It provide great opportunities to join well known companies of the country. Yes, it provides internship but I have not done any during my course.
College Events
Events are held throughout the year and one of the main event held is Xavotsav which is one of most famous event held in Kolkata.Various celebrities and artists are invited in the event. Throughout the year various kinds of inter college competitions are also held.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is expensive as compared to other college. B. Com has two batches one is in morning and one is in evening. The evening batch fees is twice expensive then the morning batch. The morning batch is subsidised by the West Bengal Government.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship is mostly offered to the Christian students whose family income is very low. Loan facility is not offered by the college. No, I have not availed any of them.The scholarship is not publicly known to everyone.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are held throughout the year through various inter college competitions and at the end the certificates are also provided to the students for their participation. Labs for computer and science are there and are very well equipped with the latest technology. Sports arena is also their for the students for their refreshment.
Alumni/Alumna
There exists a network of alumni and senior students. Yes, they are helpful at the time of admission and senior students also help for arranging and referring notes. Senior students also help in knowing more about the college rules and facilities.
Admission
Applied online through filling up the form and then got the selected in the merit list. Called for a interview at the college and then got the admission as interview is just a formality main thing is the merit list and cut off percentage.
Faculty
College faculty is one the best about the college. They are student friendly and provides a lot of knowledge about various fields. They at times motivate and inspire the students through their life experiences.
