Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course that i took is bsc in electronics and computer science, because i was so intrested in electronics. The lecturers use a normal kind of teaching methods bit in a easily understandable manner. The lectures will definitely gives a special practical knowledge about the topics. Exams timings are soooo bad

Fees and Financial Aid

The SSP Scholarship. Valued at ?18,000, this merit-based scholarship aims to recognize and support academic excellence. Unfortunately, I have not been selected as a recipient of this scholarship for the current year. My application was not successful. The selection process for the SSP Scholarship is highly competitive My father have a Street hotel on a small old auto, i have a brother studying mechanical engineering, it's actually getting hard for me to pay the fees

Campus Life

2

The campus of the college is not good. Also the companies that are available are not that Great, but teachers have a lot of connections with many companies and they might help students depending on the behaviour of that particular student with the lectures

Admission

The way i got into this college is a whole other story.. Actually i applied to IISC but my jee marks we're too bad. So i decided to do same course in other college and i selected vivekanand college yeshwantpura, as soon as i got admission they removed the whole bsc form their college so i Started searching the same course and got this college which is literally 26 km away from my home, unfortunately I have to up and down daily costing 4 hours of my 24 hours..

Faculty

5

The faculty members are soo helpful in nature. 5hey always encourage us to participate in many things like cultural events and intracollege events. It's hard to believe that i literally got 14 certificates from inter college computation and more

Interview Experience

3

No i didn't, they'll just the marks of puc or 12th if he or she scores above 65 then they can get admission in the college, we need to provide our basic details like aadhar card and Mark's cards, we'll even get a installment type of payment of fees

Night Life

3

we have a gym which will not be available for us, but for showcase. we have no cafeteria, surely we have a great library with loooot of books and facilities, but they don't provide any hostel. We have many parks around the colleges and a big old complex to hang out with friends.

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.
