Course Curriculum Overview

4

Well the curriculum that is provided is AICTE approved and so it's great and the subject are mainly focused on the real world applications and their mechanism where you can learn how biotechnology really works. Curriculum is like good and teaching methods are also great but yeah there's always a chance of improvement which I see improving every year. Semester exams is taken after every 4 month . And after the completion of 4th semester , 6th semester and 7th semester you have provided an internship

Internships Opportunities

5

The internship provided in my department are from Orbit biotech , Patanjali, NDRI , and many more. You'll be provided with a number of projects and you can also choose projects of your choice to learn more about the field you're likely want to go

Placement Experience

4

In my department it's 6th Thousands of companies visit like Nescafe, biocon , bharat biotech etc Highest from my department was 9LPA and avg is around 6LPA 70% student get placed while some get their placement from out campus My plan is to done MBA after this

Fees and Financial Aid

Hi, I am Anmol Ratna currently pursuing my B.tech Biotechnology degree from this university . The fees for the 4 year program when I joined was around INR 7,25,000 but it's now changed to around 7,46,000 or something also for the bihar students this college provide DRCC scheme in which your course would be just INR 5,45,000 (only for bihar students).

Campus Life

5

UniversuMM, Vasudev kutumbakam and many more there's no fixed month they may fluctuate every year Library is good that you'll love it , it has almost every book present related to you course along with the nobels for reader The facilities that are provided are projector an AC and a smart board. Sport and extracurricular activities are too there's a sport event will be ongoing every month. Ya there's different clubs like Bio society, Robotronics , Alpha intern they help you to get the more practical knowledge and to meet with like minded people in college

Hostel Facilities

4

Facilities provided in a room AC/Non AC one fan , one bed ,study table, study chair , toilet, basin , bathroom Meal quality is not so good sometime the food provided is very bad but sometime it's really good. You can directly opt for hostel for AC/Non AC rooms and its kind of affordable

Admission

I applied in LPU but there's no seat there at that time so I choosed this college and I didn't get rejected from any college. For admission you can directly apply from the college's website there's no exam for admission you have to give a PI and if you are looking for scholarship it will be provided after the admission if you secure your CGPA for 9 or above

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is very good . There's a separate teacher for each lab and subject and in Biotechnology department students are comparatively less than CSE or any department so reaching out teacher is very easy. The teacher I like most is Dr.Manoj Singh he has done his PhD from Moscow (russia) and his knowledge and understanding of topic is on very high level . The teache i didn't like is Dr.Sonali Sangwan because she keep giving too much assignments and tutorials after every class . There are 2 sessional exams and 1 semester exam which is ofcourse final exam is take in a semester. Most of the students pass but still some 3-4 fail. The course curriculum is so relevant with the subject you will encounter various laboratory techniques which have real life use.

Interview Experience

5

No there's no GD you will just have a PI where you're interview is taken You can visit college or apply from the website You can prepare for these just by putting very little time on your speech and English vocabulary and you will be fine also you can take the coaching from the youtube to prepare yourself for the personal interview and you will be all set

Night Life

5

There's two gym in college one is paid and other is free , also there's plenty of cafeteria available including Nescafe and dominos and many more also more than 4 parks are in the campus where you can hangout with friends . The closing time is 8 PM for girls and 10 PM for boys . Hostel is open from 5AM to 10PM The locality is safe best hangout area around is domino's pizza , Nescafe cafeteria and A1 cafe .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

Remarks:

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
