Remarks
This is best college so far in Karnataka, tallying facilities, faculty, extracurricular activities, and even sports. The college provides everything and most importantly security along with freedom is the main thing a student of this age should get.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course curriculum is better. And in NITK we'll have only 2 exams in a semester. One Mid-sem exam and End-sem exam. And there will be surprise tests in between the class. And also some assignments and projects. Everything tallies to 100 for a semester.
Placement Experience
The job opportunities in the college is huge and we do have a placement organisation. Every year the average placement will be more than 98%, various companies like Google, Oracle, Microsoft also visit our campus.
College Events
There are many events celebrated in our college, has to say almost every event is celebrated. National festivals like Republic day and Independence day as well as Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated and diwali, holi, Ganesh chaturthi is done with huge participation.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is absolutely feasible. Like we have fee concession for students whose family income is less than 1 lakh do have fee concession along with SC and ST students. And there are various trusts and organisations which provide scholarship for the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, as I mentioned the fee concession will be available through college for SC and ST students and also the OBC students whose family income is less than 1 lakh.And 21 students from SC and ST categories who are among the toppers are also provided free laptops.
Campus Life
Every stream has a particular lab facilities. The extracurricular activities like dance, music, drama will be happening every weekend. There are many grounds to play sports. And there is equal chances for everyone to take part in sports and inter college championship will also be organised.
Hostel Facilities
The infrastructure is old but is still strong and beautiful. The toilets are rebuilt and the facilities are made worth it. The water consumption and power consumption are moderated and it gives pleasure in an environment like that.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, alumni network will always be engaged with students. We have a official WhatsApp group where the information flows to every single person. And they visit the college premises once in every year and guides juniors.
Admission
Firstly, we have to take JEE Mains exam, the seats in NIT's will be awarded to the top rankers in a particular category. We have to fill the counselling form and whichever NIT is alloted, we should go to that and have document verification and further we can proceed to counselling rounds and we can finalize our own choice in the eligible one.
Faculty
The faculty is so good. They know things very well. All the faculty working there are very experienced ones. And they do know how to treat students and teaching. They are all well graduated from different universities and know the opportunities we have outside and they teach us accordingly.
