About College

Infrastructure is very bad. Even there is not praperly college name board at the entrance. But at this time the construction is on working. The new building of college has been stabilised. So almost it is a goid college. In my opinion everything is depend on you.

I like mathematics that's why I decided to take admission in B.Sc.( Hons.) Mathematics. There are very few opportunities after graduation from B.Sc Hons. Mathematics. If you want to go in teaching line then it is the best way. After B.Sc. Hons. Mathematics you can get admission in iit institute for M.Sc. Mathematics and then you can do P.h.d from any institue after qualifying net or gate exam.

There are many events in my college. The college provides us NSS and NCC and there are many other societies like music society, dance society. There are many games in our college and you can participate in every society. There are many events in college fest and department fest like nukkad natak, sudoku, mathematical competition, eassy writing, debate, mini militia, pubg, chess.

The college or institute fee is not much expensive. You can easily pay your college fee year wise. My one year fee for B.Sc Hons. Mathematics was 15000. So you can pay but there are no hostels. So you have to stay in PG and PG are very expensive. So there is need to hostel facilities so that student can focus on his study.

Our college provides the scholarship to only those students who are belonged to delhi. The college don't provide any scholarship to rural students. There is no loan facility also. But for economically weaker students can get the economic help from college.

There are many extracurricular activities in our college like NSS, NCC and sports also. The lab are well but as I say the teaching and non teaching staff are both irresponsible, they don't want to work hard with stydents. They do only formality.

No there is no hostel. And this is big problem in Univestity of Delhi. Specially at this time where top universities provide hostel being a reputable university of delhi should also provide the hostel to the students.

Yes everyone is helpful. You can do friendships easily with them. My senior were very frienldy and helpful. But there is no alumni network in our college. Even college website was very poor. At this time there is something on college website.

I had heard about university of delhi from my teachers and my elders. Then after 12th I had applied for admission in delhi university for getting admission in B.Sc. ( Hons.) Mathematics. After declaring second cut off list of Delhi University I got the admission in Deshbandhu College in my prefered course.

The faculty is not good. The teaching and non teaching staff both are irresponsible. Even the non teaching staff is very careless. I wanted to take my document back which had submitted at the time of admission and I need original document for inspire scholarship but they didn't give me my document on time.
