Course Curriculum Overview
My course include both the electronics and computer science part and i thing it is most helpful for me as I could choose which field I would go further and the college gives equal oppoutunuty to both the field.
Internships Opportunities
Like i mentined the students get oppotunities from the 6th sem and also they provide intership to the eligible students. Many companies like capgimini, cognigined and many other core companies also provide intership in the college.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for placements from the 6th sem. The placement cell provide placement focused traning to the students in the final year. The companies are TCS, Accenture, Cognizent, Tech mahindra, Capzimini and many other core companies also. The highest package is 12lpa and avarage package is 4-5lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
My overall fees is around 550000 it is for the 4year and they also provide state goverment approved and also central goverment approved scgolarships to the students having good marks. The fees of many other college have increased in kolkata but our college have'nt incerased it for the students.
Campus Life
Our college organize both tech-fest and annal fest. I have experineces the tech fest as I was in the overnight hackathon that also involve many other teams fom other colleges also. The participation was free of cost and it was also overnight many other big colleges charge students for participation only but they didnt. We get our sem books from the library and we donot need to buy it it is a very good thing about the college.
Admission
I choose this college as this is the only college which is value for money for me and it is also performing constantly good according to the colleges in kolkata. All sort of companies visit the campus for the placement. If you see the condition of other colleges they are not even coming near of it according to placement and college life.
Faculty
The most of the faculty members of the college are good in their field but some of them are bit irritating as they do not cooprate with the class. Most of them teach very easily that every student understand everything. The classes are enough to pass the sem exams.
Night Life
There is a gym which I never saw open. The cafeteria is good and happening. There are many other spot like the ground and the pond side for hanging out. I donot stay in the hostel but my friends said that the hostels are average but they also provide buses for far away hostel but only for girls.
