Remarks

Our college is good, disciplined and friendly enough, no bad remarks are their about our college.

Entrance Preview

JEE 80% marks, i choose this course because my friends and relatives told me about various benefits of this course and many of my friends were also writing this examination, so i choose this course.

Internships Opportunities

Many industries came like tripati lg and akorn, which are very famous companies of india and giving about 50, 000-60, 000 per month, which is very handsome money paid by them and many more from outer countries are also coming next years.

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunites are good more than 1000 of my mates could get best placements. Their yearly package is more then 80 lakhs.

College Events

All types of festivals are being celebrated in our college like diwali, holi and other festivals. Their is no difference between hindu, sikh and christians.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible, its yearly fees is about 80, 000 and other fees like practicals and dresses and books are different. Fees was about 30, 000 and other fee like uniform, books, hostel, food is different, but not so much costly. It is affordable fee that is about 50, 000 per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

Their are many scolarships provided by the college like miniority. I got 30, 000RS scolarship from the college loan facilities are also available.

Campus Life

Campus life is also friendly enough a big football ground and cricket ground is provided by the college and labs are also neat and clean moreover every year their atheletic meet helds, in which many students take parts debates are also given by students.

Hostel Facilities

The mess food is of average quality. Apart from mess, there is a separate canteen in both the halls of residence (boys and girls) and a common cafeteria.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students tells me, that the college is very disciplined. They also told me about different competitions held in the college, they also give me information about the teachers that are from many other states and countries and moreover many teachers are also gold medalist in physics, chemistry and other subjects also.

Exam Structure

The exams days are the cool days, all the labs we did. Our practicals were nice, clean and spacious enough we enjoyed hectic day.

Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
