Course Curriculum Overview

In our college there is nothing opportunity for internship for the students and it is quite similar to all the colleges in Hazaribagh district, so it is not concerning for us. Only two exams are taken by the college authority in a semester.

Class Size: 320Course Fees: INR 1760 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees of my course is around 1760 rupees, which is taken by the college's authority through the chancellor portal, but it can be lower for girls and other categories students. E kalyan scholarship is given by the state government to students.

Campus Life

I don't attend regular classes, thats why i don't know about any annual fest organised in the college but I got to know many programmes organised in the college which come in the newspaper and also they send information in the group.

Admission

I always wanted to go to Columbia College but didn't able to go there because they don't offer this course in the college, and that is the reason why I wasn't able to get there. I also applied to different colleges but didn't get the opportunity because i didn't given cuet exam.

Faculty

From my knowledge it is very low because number of students are high but it not create any problem to teach them because not all students never come to college combined in a particular day . Head of department of Commerce is the sweetest person or teacher i ever met in college.

Night Life

Campus area is very small that's why there is no place in the college to make and establish this thing inside the campus hangout place is not available inside the college campus and also it is not safe to roam around in the college because there are lot of goons inside the college and authority also supports them.

Great campus life in Jamshedpur

I choose Bcom because I have interest in the accounting sector , it helps me in the real life , currently I am working in the accounting sector . Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

Affordable College of Commerce

• I didn't apply for other colleges and I choose because of the low fees and also because it accept lower attendance and I am doing CA alongwith so I provided me more time to prepare. • Admission process of our college: (i) After 12th we have to register in chancellor portal by filling all the required documents and details. (ii) After that a merit list released by the vbu university for every particular colleges. (iii) If your name comes in the merit list than you are eligible to take admission in the college and you have to go to the college for offline submission of the required documents and after the documents verification done . (iv) After documents verification, again if have to go chancellor portal website and have to choose the major subject we want and have to pay 1760 fees .
