I chose this course because of the strong focus on industry and manufacturing sectors. The inclusion of practical labs industrial visits added an extra benefit in choosing this course. The curriculum is prepared focusing current day industries and market

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester while we can start our internships during 3rd year. There are many companies visiting our college like caterpillar amazon google tata motors siemens etc. Around 60% are placed and many opted internships

Fees and Financial Aid

I joined this course under self finance so I paid 91000 per year including caution fees development fees lab fees etc. Then we had to pay 3500 per semester as tuition fees. My friends under government aided course paid 24000

Campus Life

Intrams annual cultural fest Kriya annual technical fiesta Other events like atoms molecules prodothon kalam are conducted by various departments and associations of our college Our department conducts prodothon. There are over 20 clubs and associations in our college We celebrate various sports fests too in our college

Admission

I also opted for anna university as it is one of tamilnadu's exceptional institution. I chose this college for its high placements and for my cutoff this course was apt and satisfying. We can apply to our college using tnea tamilnadu counselling and there are management seats too

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 50:1 which allows a decent balance between students and faculty. Generally the faculties are strict but their teaching is good. There are 2 internal exams and the final semester exam. We also have practice tests to improve our knowledge

Interview Experience

We didn't have any interview it was tamilnadu board counselling according you cutoff obtained in 12 th grade Around 180 to 186 cutoff were eligible for production engineering in our institution Then there was a one on one meeting with the dean and principal of our college

Night Life

We have gym facilities in our hostel a departmental store a inbuilt badminton play area and a excellent library with wifi facilities We girls have to be inside hostel within 6:30 There are so many cafes and fun spots nearby especially funmall

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Psg college of technology real experience

I applied GD Goenka College which was in Delhi and I got admission in artificial intelligence the drawback I don't want to join in this was comparing to Psg it gives me a good knowledge the course curriculum and there are two internships which provide in this 5 years one is 7th semester and other one is 10th semester there's those two internships were very helpful to my placement And the admission process of my course is there are three levels one is the first level is also score pulse code must be greater than 80% and the second level is entrance test it is based on 12th and 11th mathematics and third level is personal interview which is your technical based on your mathematics skills...Read More

An Honest look at PSG COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY what to expect

I had applied psg,cit,thapar I got confirmed from these three but the main reason I choose psg is course curriculum and the internship it will help you to gain good knowledge and place in good company so comparing other colleges psg is better The admission process of my course there is 4 courses of 5years integrated msc (ds,cs,ss,tcs ) To join in these there are 3rounds 1.12th percentage 2.entrance exam. 3.interview Your 12th score is must be more than 85 The entrance exam is based on 11th and 12th mathmatics And the interview has some technical questions and mathmatics Iam not feared about 1st and 2nd round because my 12th score is very good and Iam well in mathmatics but the 3rd interview round was very good experience for me I had a good chance to prove my skills I had little fear after completing I got 3rd position in the entrance exam Finally it was a great experience for me...Read More
