Remarks
College infrastructure is extremely good. Big campus and many canteen to hangout Green campus and have got many activity ground Auditorium and grounds were extremely beautiful Food in canteen was very tasty.
Course Curriculum Overview
We had six semesters half yearly each in Bachelor of Commerce. If we failed in any subject we were required to appear for KT after clearing which we were passed for next one. Course Curriculum was as per Mumbai University.
Placement Experience
We do not had placements and Job Opportunities. Placements and Job opportunities were available only for Specialised Course. It is quite unfair. No internship and placements at our time. It may have started now.
College Events
We had Annual fest and other days celebration. Tie and saree day, chocolate and bouquet day, dress code day, valentine, friendship etc In annual fest we had fashion show, dance, drama. Dj and freshers party. Kite Cricket matches were also held.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It’s an aided college and girls gets concession so it was very affordable. Fee structure only for Bachelor if Commerce was less for other specialised courses like Baf, Bmm it was almost to Rs. 20 to 25 k.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship was available to financially poor and outstanding student. It was made available via Somaiya trust. For overseas study scholarship exams were held and conducted. Loan facility I have not heard.
Campus Life
Library is really good. Cricket premier league use to happen. Football classes were available We had chess ground where we can play chess which was extremely beautiful place. Basketball was also available.
Hostel Facilities
We had Hostel facility at our College. Food was okay. It includes breakfast, lunch and Dinner. Laundry and canteen facility was available. Hostel infrastructure is quite good. For hangout many canteen were available.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students were Quite helpful and easy going There are no events held so that seniors and juniors can get connected. One of my senior informed me about refund which is to claimed after completing graduation.
Admission
I got admission through offline process. I had filed offline pre admission form in college after standing in long queue. It was extremely frustrating because of rain and queue. My name appeared in third merit list after which I secured my admission
Faculty
Faculty of College is okay. Because some professors are extremely good whereas some are just to complete formalities or else least interesting. Few teachers were at the age of retirement quite old teaching techniques.
