Remarks

i applied for few colleges like manipal dtu nsut vit but i chose vit because vit is very well known for its academics and my dream was to always go to a well know college which i feel i have accomplished.i did get rejections from few colleges but im not regrettinbg it.the admission process of my college is through viteee exam and as per the ranks we get a seat in four different campuses of vit.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

i was always interested in coding and wanted to create a future in the aspect of ai and ml thats why i chose this course.the curriculum is preparing me very wellln for this course.difficulty level is moderate but i feel teachers can improve their methods of teaching which can make the subjects more interesting

Internships Opportunities

5

I'm in first year right now so I don't have much idea about it.but looking at previous data i can say that vit provides excellent interships and a lot of good companies visit here too like tcs google amazon adobe etc.

Placement Experience

3

Talking abt placements placements of college are decent with average package of 6-7 lpa but jowadays market is going is very low as compared to before so students are not getting placed but this should change after some years

Fees and Financial Aid

the college offers various courses like cse cse with spec mechanical eng eee etc.fees are based on categories and categories are based on ranks so personally im 4th category and im paying a tuition fee of 4,50,000 per year and the tuition fee prices as per me have not increased they have been always the same.i know a lot of batchmates who are either category 5,4,3,2,1 they are paying different fees.category 1 fee is 2,00,000 category 2 is 2,50,000 category 3 is 4,00,000 category 4 is 4,50,000 and category 5 is 5,00,000.

Campus Life

3

Campus life is decent but little bit restricted as outings and leaves are not very easy to get here and sports facilities are also decents.wvents are ok and overall college life is moderate here.but our college should allow us to go out of the campus for sometime because few important things are required to get gor hostel which is not available easily

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostle facilities are excellent including food lifts cleanliness etc there is no need to change in this but if hostel could keep the nightmess open till 3 or 4 am it would be better because a lot of students are usually hungry at that time

Faculty

4

facult to student ratio is like if there are 70 students for one subject then there is one faculty.faculty to student relationship depends on the faculty only, some faculties are very friendly and easy to approach but some faculties are not.personally I have liked 2 faculties in the college.they are parasuraman sir and marziya begum ma'am i feel they are the best for me because they teach very well and they are very friendly and they are very easy to approach.they always clear my doubts.personally i didnt like alang g faculty of english and mohana preethi velan because i could never understand what they taught and they were not very friendly and easy to approach.

Night Life

2

As such no expectations of night life here the intime is 9 o clock for campus which should be changed but facilities are good like talking about cafes and gym.very restricted environment as compared to other colleges this should be changed

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.
