- I liked the Campus here very much, its greenery and accessibility.
- The security you get here is awesome, I just feel safe here.

- No cultural activities other than prayer
- No other extra curricular activities promoted (it's there, but not given much importance)
- Lack of coordination among the departments, faculties and students
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. Its best if you are preparing for any competitive exams like GATE, GAT-B etc.. But i would like it if they improved the practical sections more. the teaching method is good. the exams are conducted each month, so there is amble time to cover all portions.
Internships Opportunities
Internship oppurtunities are not directly provided by the college. We have to contact the companies and ask for the oppurtunities. and some of the faculties will also help us to get in to it, like in Syngene international , bangalore. Then the college provide AISTE inernships offers, where student exchange takes place with abroad universities.
Placement Experience
The placements are not that god. There are placements, but not more core companies. If you want just to get placed anywhere you will get placed for 100% sure, but not sure about the core companies, In my batch almost every one is placed, but only few in core companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
I'm currently pursuing B.Tech in Biotechnology at Karunya. The yearly fee under Management Quota is around 170000 to 190000 , which includes tution fee 140000 lab and develpment fee 20000 and registration charges 10000. Caution deposit of 10000 in the first year. A scholarship of 40000 is given for good ranked students during the admission time and if the percentage of scores and attendence is maitained this will get forwarded to coming semesters
Campus Life
The campus is good, the class is good, the facuties are good. But i dont appreciate much about the annual festivals, and the yearly technical festival is the best one i had here in karunya. The library here is awesome and is very useful.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is good, clean, and safe. good food, good restrooms and gym facilities. A good garden area to relax. Salons, supermarkets, Xerox shops, cafes are all available inside the hostel compound. And there is a study hour from 8.30pm to 10.30pm every day .
Admission
i chose because i needed the specialisation in genetic engineering and technology along with b.tech in biotechnology, so that i will get an honours degree. And the fees here was comparitively lower than that in VIT vellore. And the admission procedure was also quite simple.
Faculty
The faculty here is good (except for a few). They teach very well and are available all around to clear doubts and for any help. There are a total 4 exams. 3 internals and 1 semester exam in each semester.
Night Life
There is no much night life in campus, we have to leave the campus by maximum 6 if we dont have any classes or work. In hostel the gym facilities are available till 7.30 pm. and if you need to use library at night we can get special permission and use it till 10pm
