Course Curriculum Overview

4

Pharmacy sector growth during CoVid Times has mostly influenced my decision to choose this course. As during 2019-2022, the needs for medicine and vaccines soard to new heights causing it to become one of the most well developed sector during those times and my relatives also explained to me about this course and what are it's scope in the future. This course provides industrial as well as hospital training which provides exposure to the students which develops their social and industrial skills preparing them for their future and career life. About exam timing it can be that sessional exams are conducted too early and the duration seems a bit short for completion and preparation of internal exams...

Placement Experience

5

The students becomes eligible for campus placement from 3rd Year and most gets places in their 4th year of studies. Mankind, Dr. Reddy, Sun Pharma, TCS, Artech,Kenko, Genus, Etc companies visit us for placements. The highest package of our college is 6 lakhs with average package of 4 lakh. According to my knowledge more than 80% gets placed from the college. I will go for placements or try to go for masters degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

My Fee Structure as of 2025:- Total course time : 4 Year Course Fee per year : 120000 Total course fee : 480000 I pay my fees in 2 parts where 1st part is 60% and 2nd part is 40%... The fees of other categories student in our same batch is same as ours. Our college provides scholarship to our students for helping them reduce some financial burden. It's named as below:- Those who score 85% or above : Rs 5000

Campus Life

4

The Freshers party held in October, Dandiya Night held around November, Holi Celebration, Diwali Celebration, Other College Organised Events are done. In our library we are allowed to issue books and journals according to our decision and availability.. Our classroom has smart boards and projectors for enhanced learning. We have college provides ERP portal for student management.

Admission

I applied to IIMT College of Pharmacy as well as Galgotias College of Pharmacy but the confirmation from Galgotias came too late as by the time it came I already took admission in IIMT College of Pharmacy. Our college follows the latest syllabus presented by PCI and college also provides various cultural events to allow students to interact and get familiar with various cultures and traditions... We also have value added course for extra skill development. Our college is one of the colleges inside iIMT group of colleges, Greater Noida We have 4 floors corresponding to 4 years of course students, as well as provide library and sports for students. It has various Both Boys and Girls hostel and computer lab.

Faculty

4

The student ratio of boys and girls is 55-45 among hundred students. Our teachers are very interactive with students and helps in actively solving the doubts. No faculty will say no to any doubts asked by the students. We get regular assignments and class tests for students record check. All faculties are good and it's hard to compare them. But from my perspective the faculty I feel more approachable is Bhakti Mam(Our 2nd Year Advisor, She has helped me various times with my personal problem), Neha Mam(She teaches Organic Chemistry and teaches in an interesting way which makes it easier to understand), Shreyashi Mam( Our microbiology teacher as she actively helps students with their problems), Tinku Sir( Pharmacognosy Teacher, He has a whole lot of knowledge and frankly speaking his knowledge astonishes me again and again), Other faculties are good to us too... As for faculties I don't like, I'd say each and every faculties are very helping and supportive towards our class, but tinku sir despite his knowledge feels like he is in a rush while teaching, so it feels hard for me as well as somewhat rushed. Our college conducts 2 Sessional(Internal Exams), One PUT(Pre Final Exam based on University Final Exam) as Per PCI. Also our college conducts improvement sessional between 2nd Sessional and PUT Exam. Exam Difficulty is based on University Exam for better preparation. The course is completed in 4 years and among 100 students, last year, around 5-8 students failed in their exams which they cleared in the next semester...

Interview Experience

4

I took direct admission in the college but others can be admitted in college through various competition exam such as NEET, CUET, etc... Those whintake admission through competition exam gets scholarship discount in their fees...

Night Life

5

There are gym, cafeteria, and hostel inside of college and outside in a radius of 100m around the college. Hostel Timing for Boys is around 9PM around campus and for Girls is 7 PM... Our campus has good scenario and various cafeterias at different corners in college....

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are average, not very high but some companies do visit every year. Students become eligible for placements from final year, mostly from 7th or 8th semester. Companies are not very big mostly local or mid level pharma companies come. Some roles offered are like production, quality control and marketing. Highest package is not very high, around 3-4 LPA and average package is around 2-2.5 LPA. Percentage of students getting placement is not very high, maybe around 40-50% approx. Many students prefer to go for higher studies or try off campus jobs. My plan after completing degree is to look for job in pharma field or maybe go for higher studies depending on opportunity. Overall placement is okay but needs improvement.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is average, not very high but also not too bad. Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. Some companies visit the college but not many big companies comes regularly. Companies like small pharma companies and local companies visit and offer roles like production, quality control and sales. The highest package is around 3–4 LPA and average package is about 2–2.5 LPA. Number of offers is also limited and not all students get placed. Around 30-40% students get placement from campus, rest students have to search job on their own or go for higher studies. College gives some support but not very strong placement help. Because of this, many students including me are planning for higher studies or preparing for competitive exams to get better opportunities. Overall placement is okay but need improvement.
