Good for open learning

All the things are good. As teacher those taught are good. Staff is supportive. Also infrastructure is fine. But they don’t provide placements that is a negative point. As sometimes it’s difficult to find a job directly.

They have many courses. And also they add new courses every year. And They take exams once in a year. And also classes they gave is in another regular colleges. Those classes given only on Sundays. As well as they take care for students location. They gave Sunday classes to nearest college so that students don’t leave classes.

They don’t provide placements. But wherever you go for job you can easily get job. Because SOL is one of the biggest government body which provide wide courses option at nominal charges. They don’t have internship programs yet. But I think maybe they provide in future.

There is event celebration in our college. As it’s a Open Learning School. And they provide classes in another regular colleges. And those classes given only on Sundays. And classes occur only in between July to January. After that you need to study by yourself. But they should at least arrange one farewell.

There fee structure is very low. Any one can easily afford there fee. As they charge fee once a year. Also they don’t charge exam fees. Also they don’t have any other charges. They just take fees one time a year that is at the time of admission. After that you no need to pay anything.

There is no scholarship option also there is no loan facility. Because there fees structure is very nominal. As I have took b.com hons and they just charge 3500bucks for the whole year. And also there is no extra fees or charges. Even they don’t charge exam fees.

There is no curricular activity. As it is a open learning School. So, they don’t have any these kind of activities. They don’t have labs also. And they don’t have sport activity as well. But they should have these activities also.

It’s a Open Learning School. So, there is no hostel option. And also they don’t have hostel facility. So if anyone coming from outside delhi. So, they need to pay for hostel the self. Or student need to go P.G those are private hostel. But they should have hostel option for outsiders.

Alumni and senior students aren’t much helpful as it’s not a regular college. So if you know any student by yourself that person can help else you need to visit administrator office. Else there is no difficulty for any other thing.

You can get direct admission in school of open learning through prospectus. There is an application form in prospectus in which you can see all the programs run by school of open learning (SOL). And also all the fees structure is written. You need to submit your 10th and 12th marksheet along with your application form and required fees of amount.

I live in north delhi. So they always gave classes to me in Kirori Mal college in which Mr Amitabh Bachchan studied. And I really appreciate the faculty of Kirori Mal. As they never make me feel that I am outsider i.e. from open learning. They teach well.
