Everything positive, except the weather too rainy in rainy season and too hot in summer season. But it is outmatched by our private nitk beach.mess food is not good but cant expect much.we have nitk guest House.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college offers btech mtech and phd courses.depending on the branch you have got you need complete the minimum specified credits in 4years of btech.there are 8 semester and each semester has mid sem exam and end sem exam.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario is one of the best things.all the branches have more than 90percent placement stastics.yes college invites companies which may offer internship and stipend is also nice on average about 20000 but some companies might go upto 1lakh.
College Events
Techfest engineer. Cultural fest Incident,crescendo,marathon every sem,inter branch sports events, inter college competition.Engineer is the best techfest in south india.Incident includes many big sponsors.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very feasible. Tuition fee each semester is around 60k.also college gives fee waiver to students of sc st and low income group.so anybody can afford education in nitk.also college provides scholarship to needed students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college has state bank of india and canara bank in its campus which provides loan facilities to students.the college approves any outside scholarship also if you have. The loan facility offered by banks is also very flexible.
Campus Life
We have our sorts team which includes cricket, football ,hockey, kho kho ,swimming etc. We have variety of labs for example physics ,chemistry ,engineering ,drawings ,fluid mechanics ,som lab, geotechnical lab etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is average considering the price point of 5000 for one semester. College provides maintanence staff to every hostel so cleaning is no issue.hostel are equipped with ceiling fan tube light and wifi. This is available in each room.
Alumni/Alumna
Nitk has a wide range of alumii. We have our own alumii association club.the alumuni helps students financially if they are going foreign for internships.the senior students helps with studies and guidance.the career development centre is funded by alumuni.
Admission
You have to give entrance exam called JEE mains.Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) MAIN will be conducted by the NTA from 2019 onwards.after qualifying you need to wait for admission process to start you will be notified in jee website.then you need to fill your choice of college and branch and if you get any college then you have to visit that college and get admission
Faculty
The faculty of nitk is very experienced. You can't expect all the professors to be perfect, but a lot of them are good. In civil, there are two sections, and one class has around 50 students. faculty is very helpful if you ask them
