Remarks

I enjoyed each and every day at college. I got new friends in college. College never disappoint me. College give lots of good memories. I never have bad impression about college. But negative side college have improve many things. Its helpful to upcoming generation.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is pretty good. I am happy by the facilities of the college. Our exam procedure is devided by eight semester in 4 years. Each year has two semester. There are many internal exams in middle of the senester.

Placement Experience

No intership sorry. But our college placement is pretty good. Many companies have placement in college like Tcs, byjus, mahindra etc.job opportunities is pretty good according to me. College is always suppotrive to us in job matter. I am thankful to thak

College Events

1. Durgapuja is celebrate in every year. 2. Swaraswati puja is also celebrated. 3. Vishakarma puja is main for mechanical students. Bt for us also enjoyable. 4. Kartik puja also celebrated. 5. Tech fest is main for us. 6. Alumina is for passout students. 8. Freshers who come in 1st year for their welcoming. 9. Farewell for final year students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college fees is not much expensive. We give 40000 in each semester. All semester have 6month time. instar of every semester we have to give money. Bt if its too late to gave the money that no problem. College authority manage it pretty well.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes i got scholarship from government by through college verification. In verification i never get faced any problem. College is always helpful to us. And i never have a loan for education matter. In future if need then i'll see.

Campus Life

Labs in college is pretty much good. All labs have AC facilities. Enough equipments for lab experiment. And have lots computer. Enough lighting facilities, sitting facilities, projector. And we also have lots of good lab teachers.

Hostel Facilities

No I have no hostel. I live in a mess in front of college. Mess fees is costly. Hostel food is as not good for my health. So i think to live in mess. Bt for this reason i never faced any problem. I live 4 years in that particular place.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes my seniors are are helpful to me. Their strong advises made me more stonger. They teach us how to deal in good situation or bad situation. They teach us how deal with teachers. In bad time their advises is helpful to me.

Admission

By giving West Bengal joint entrance exam in the year 2015 i got the chance.I ranked 40000 rank in that exam. Then by counciling i got a chance in Saraj Mohan Institute of Technology in cse depertment in B.tech.

Faculty

I am happy by the faculty of my college. They are supporting. Always give encourage to us.They bring many job opportunity to the students of all depertment. Many of our students got job. I am thankful to them.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
