Likes

Faculties and classes are very good. Regular classes with special focus on practical classes.
Good atmosphere song the students bf inside the campus. Senior junior bonding is great.
Extra curricular activities like sports, different competitions are very regular and helpful

Dislikes

Play ground facility is not available only indoor sports

Course Curriculum Overview

This course has good placement operation tu and very uniquely designed. I have a deep interest in the course. Examination are on semester basis takes place in every 6months. The extra things like personality development classes , compute lab faculty is of great help.

Internships Opportunities

We are having a very efficient training and placement cell which gives 100% placement assistance to all the students in our campus. Regular personality development and GD PI classes help us a lot to get good placement.

Placement Experience

I am in the 2nd year not eligible for placement now. But I have seen my seniors getting placement . All of them are very happily placed all over the country in 5 star properties and I have also seen our teachers taking special efforts for this.

Fees and Financial Aid

60000 per year including uniform, tool kit, bag and all practical expence. No extra hidden charges like fine or late fees or placement charges. No scholarship for general category of students. Thank you

Campus Life

Great campus life friends and good hostel with fantastic teachers around . This is what makes my college a perfect one for me. We have lot of activities and extra curricular activities here. It's fun filled campus.

Admission

I applied in this college only. Great location and facilities attracted me . There was no entrance test and it was based on career marking . Some of my friends also joined this college. I am very happy here and would like to suggest my friend and junior to join this course.

Faculty

We have the best faculties for us and examination are taking place inside the campus under strict supervision. All the coursefees charged to us can be paid in instalment. Faculties take special care for students who are week in subjects. Extra classes if the course not complete or doubt clearing class.

Night Life

I live in college hostel and we are not allowed to go out without permission but special days are allowed with permission from superintendent and parents. It's near Rasulgarh so our regular handout place is esplanade mall for movies and shopping

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

In 5th semester the campus is coming to give you jobs. The company are vedant ltd, jsw, tata, reliance etc, outside companies also come. Maruti Suzuki. 60 to 70 per cent of students gate the job. I am also job junior engineer at Tata.

Courses and instructors are good, but don't expect a rocking campus life here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this college without planning as I couldn't get a desired seat in IIT. But I think it was for good. The course is a wonderful primer on the path of becoming a scientist. Compared to other colleges, IISER Berhampur has a quite good faculty: student ratio. But most of them are pretty good as people and as teachers. We manage to conduct all classes without fail. But I'd like to see an increase in the number so that the research area can be broadened. The faculty here have all completed their Ph.D. and postdoc and all have some good prior experience in research and teaching. I like most of the instructors that have taught me except for a few one or two. The exam schedule is given right with the calendar release of each semester before the semester starts. Sometimes there might be changes in the schedule but we are informed around 2-3 weeks earlier in that case. Exams are not hard to pass if you attend classes and study sincerely. Questions are not asked beyond the concepts being taught.

Life at BGU

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

Remarks:

All are good,but only fooding quality is below the level.And also it does not have any playground available to play outdoors games.only it have not a playground but this college have good class room,WiFi campus, Computer centre,canteen, language lab and hostel are there.
