Likes

The thing I most like about my college is that I can study offline and at campus both
Facilities are top notch and the classroom also have AC
Teachers at both online and offline explain very well

Dislikes

University is very strict and you can't break rules
When I study online I can't see my attendance there
The teachers only educate in English not in hindi

Course Curriculum Overview

It's Ai era and bca is very necessary for it so yeah I choose it and university provides webinars, activities and many more stuff that prepared us for real world experience. Everything is good for me there and exams happens 1 month before end of semester and they are not that tough

Placement Experience

Amity University provides placement in very big companies like Microsoft, amazon etc and we are eligible for placement from second semester I guess. The highest can be go like 12lpa or more and the lowest can go like 2-3lpa. Above 50-60% students gets placements. My plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for Bca course is 1.5-1.75 Lakhs and I have taken bca advance with software engineer which costs 75k yearly (2.25 Lakhs total). The registration fees was free at my time so I don't know about that

Campus Life

Campus life is so great I really can't explain. There are so many events held in amity University where big personalities come, students performances and many more. Classroom are big and aur conditioned. Amity University has its own social app which is besocial where students can post and socialize

Admission

I choose amity University coz it's a very well known and big university to study in and the admission process was very easy. I didn't applied to any other colleges. The eligibility for applying for bca course was only 10+2 and nothing else

Faculty

The faculty members are top notch, they educate very well and also solve the queries of students. Every subject has its modules and every module has its own assignment which helps in the understanding of the module and internal marks also depends on them

Interview Experience

No, I didn't face any interview or group discussion or written test regarding the admission. No tests were taken for admission and the process was very simple. The only criteria for taking admission in bca was 10+2 nothing else

Night Life

Nightlife is also good, surroundings are open till 11-12pm. I don't really hangout that much near my university so I don't know very much about the places that are popular there. Overall the area is amazing

The college provides good placements.Students can become eligible for placements from 3rd year . More than 20 companies visit for campus placements which give multiple offers. Highest package offered -12lpa and average package is around 5lpa.I am planning to pursue MCA after my BCA degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.

AMITY UNIVERSITY - GUIDE 101 FOR B.TECH

I applied to SRM chennai and got the admission letter. but i had to choose AMITY because of lack of hostel accommodation in SRM for female students. When i got there they told me they had 0 rooms for so many students. I did not get a rejection, i had to reject SRM because of lack of hospitality for North Indian people at the reception desk.
