Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Mbbs course is one of the high respective course. We want to face many struggles during exams. But in future we will become excellenct doctor. Exams are not that much tough, but still passing marks in mbbs course is 40% (cbme curriculum). Last year it was 50% passing marks. We want to practice diagram for anatomy and physiology we want to write short notes.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees 57,250 including library fees, sports fees, etc.. There are many other scholarship available like ssp scholarship, nh scholarship etc.. In 1st year i paid 60,000 . Sc and st students paid only 21,000 and they will get free printer, medical books etc.

Campus Life

3.5

There will be many and many festival, functions will be held on our college mainly krieda , samskriti , guruvandana ,Graduation day, etc.. In classroom facilities are good .. There's smart board and all.. But seats aren't clean. There aren't much books available in library. Sports and extracurricular activities offered is excellent. Now they have build a new library.. which is excellent

Admission

I just applied for this college because my rank was 2000 and I was knowning I will get this college, but before neet results, i joined for engeneering at jss engeneering college ( computer science) for 1 month I did and then I joined mbbs . I choose this college because I stay in Mysore with my parents.. i didnt want to leave mysore. For the eligibility of the course, person should complete neet exam and application form, application fees can be paid in the college office itself. Mbbs exams will be for 3 hrs and sometimes paper will be though.

Faculty

Faculties are very excellent and they care of us individually and their teaching methods is unique and awesome. They will clarify each and every doubts. But the faculties are not sometimes available in college hours. I like Rashmi ma'am ( anatomy) , revathi ma'am ( physiology) , Amrita ma'am ( microbiology) , surgery ( raghuveer sir). I didn't like many of them. In 1st yr there are 3 exams ( anatomy, physiology, microbiology) all theory exams are having 2 papers (each paper 100 marks) and practical exam is for 100 and total passing percentage is 40% , 2nd yr there are 3 subjects ( microbiology, pathology, pharmacology) again it same as 1st yr marks distribution ,3rd year ( forensic medicine, community medicine) forensic medicine is 1 paper exam and community medicine is 2 paper and same marks as 1st yr papers, in 4 th yr there are 11 subjects ( obg, surgery, medicine, dermatology, orthopedic, pediatric, ent, opthalmologist, radiology, physciatry etc ...) many people fail .. almost 10 people/ yr fail and they will pass in supplementary exams which will be after 1 month main exam results.

Night Life

4

My hangout spots is pond area near my college campus, gym is awesome with great equipment, in library we are having tab ( only for prepladder app) which will open for prepladder app. In boys hostel they are no timings, but in girls hostel 7pm is last .. There is no hostel warden. Our final year students are only hostel warden. Outside hangout places - mysore palace, zoo ,garuda mall, railway station and museum, mysore mall..inside college there's no such hangout place. Yes the locality is safe to roam around at night

Other Applied Colleges

JSS Science and Technology University -[JSSSTU] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
