Remarks

Management is not that impressive but does a quite decent job for the college. If at all you try to find something bad you'll always name is at ATTENDANCE. It's a serious crime having your attendance less than 75% because you need to write long remedials

Entrance Preview

I gave IIT JEE (Score:50) as an entrance test. I opted TCET because of it's great infrastructure and pre-placement training that it provides. Thakur Group never compromise with Infrastructure and I noticed this when I was in Thakur Junior college. I had about the pre-placement programs of Thakur from one of my friend and now I realise he was right. They start with these programs during the first year itself. Seminars and Workshops on Personality Development, practical knowledge, interview skills, etc are conducted. Admission process is both online as well as offfline means.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I won't say all but the maximum ratio of faculty is quite good. They have their resource books in which every lecture is defined. Course Outcomes and their duration is well defined in these resource books. They conduct AOPs in which they brief us about the faculty and the subject topics. These AOP sessions go on for one whole week. Online Survey about the institute as well as the faculty is taken in detail from each and every student twice in a Semester.

Internships Opportunities

Right now, I have no idea about internships. But as far as my interaction with seniors they internships have moderate experience. Not so harsh neither easy.

Placement Experience

4

The average annual package offered by IT Companies were around 2-2.5 lakh per annum. The highest package till date in our college is 34 lakh. Renowned companies like Infosys, L&T, Tata, Accenture visit for campus placements. Placements are good especially for the students looking forward to work for IT Companies. Last year more than 375 were placed inclusive of all branch students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite expensive. Thakur offers a high class infrastructure and good services with all the required ammenities so in fullfilling this it turns out to be a little expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

You do your entire engineering in a very low cost if you get Scholarship by applying TFWS. Low Income families get more than 50% off on fees. You can also avail discounted fees from companies if you perform good in Semesters.

Campus Life

5

We have end number of workshops on various learning topics, short seminars are also delivered offenly. There is no discrimination amongst sex, race, religion because people have entered a professional career and they know what should be the way of treating others.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facility is moderate. There are many PGs nearby college. Food is hygienic but not so good to taste.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very good. They are always ready to support and motivate you. I am highly influenced by my seniors. They guide you on a perfect path. Especiay when you participate in the events your interaction with the seniors increases and you get to learn a lot from them.

Exam Structure

The faculty is so good that if you seat all the lectures you'll have a ease in clearing the term tests. They aren't hectic. If your attendance is low ie below 75% you have difficulties in submissions.

During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
