Best review of PUNJAB ENGINEERING COLLEGE

1.Like everyone i also wanted to choose computer science but due to high cutoff i got admission in Electronics now after getting admission in this i love this branch 2.curriculum is also well prepared covering all the essential subjects 3. in 1st year every branches have same subjects but there should be some core subject also for each branch that will help one to build intrest 4.As there is relative marking scheme in the college so if exam is difficult then difficult for everyone and vice versa

there is fixed 6th semm alotted for internship in which students who get on csmpus interns go for there interns and others also have to di compulsory 4 months intern in any company or if students did not get any intern then they can also continue with 4 month acadamic opportunities in college only

there is good placement ratio in the college in this year also around 90 students among 130 of this brach got on campus placement also if not get the college placement then also there is so many research opportunities and higher education opportunities available along with off campus placemets also for interships students of 3rd year are eligible for in campus internship and for placement 4th year students are eligible companies like Microsoft, Amex, JP morgan, Goldman Sacks etc. visit the campus for intership annd placements

Semester fee for Punjab Engineering College is 94000 out of which 88000 is the tution fee and rest 6000 is other charges which includes gym Facilitym, Swimming Pool etc. and the feee for all categories is same but there are multiple scholorship facilities under which most of sc, st category students get full fee wavier or half fee wavier and other category students also have scholorship facility available on the basis of annual income and their acadamic performance.

there are so many events occur in the college including orientations, Navratre celebrations, gurmat smagam, most famoous PECFEST, mahashivratri, independence day, repuublic day, alumni meet, also there are so many exprest sessions also.

i have choosen this college because of iits lagecy in punjab and chandigarh reason also it is in chandigarh where there is many things to explore and this college is near to my house also so it is best fit for me if i compare it with other collleges the i can say overall college is good interms of placement stats and internship oppotunities also but infra is nott that good talking about admission process admission is done under JOSSA councelling similar to other nits, iits and all

1.faculty to student ratio is very good multiple teachers avaailable to teach same subject and relationship between students and facuulty is also very positive 2.Mostly all the faculties in the college are very good always ready to help students 3.there are 2 exams in the college mid semester exams and end semester exams also there are 3 quizes fro each subject in between which help students to cover there syllabus simultaneously so that there should less load in exams.

night life is also good in evening many games opportunities are available. talking about hostel life then hostel life is also fine single and double rooms available. hostel timing is arnd 10 for boys. famous place in the college are pec market nescafe etc.
