Likes

Teachers are quite helpful and knowledgeable
Campus and crowd life is quite exciting and provide opportunities
Students can wear whatever they want as per their liking

Dislikes

Staff members are so rude they don't do their work properly
Teachers are not practical they only stick to textbook knowledge
BCA is not regarded much over B.Tech and opportunities are only provided to them

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams occur semester wise and before that 2 sessionals also known as mid-terms occur. There is only about 2 weeks gap between mid-term 1st and mid-term 2nd. Syllabus is not that hard, students can score well by preparing material through textbooks issued from library

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 210000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees of the course BCA of my University is total of ?2,10,000, i.e. 70,000 for 1 year and 35080 per semester. Scholarship scheme programme is quite helpful as it provide a little help for students

Campus Life

Campus or crowd life is quite fascinating, students get chance to showcase their talent every now and then as everyday there is something new organised by the clubs and societies of our campus, but these clubs are funded by students itself that they have to pay for the participation

Admission

As I was told that there we can work on our personality with our studies as there is proper class for personality development and self grooming classes. But that is only in 1st semester.there is no such classes and personality development in 2nd semster and further classes

Faculty

Teachers are quite knowledgeable but are failed to execute their knowledge to students. They are unable to manage the strength, they don't even care if student is capable to understand or not they just rush towards completing their syllabus, exams are quite frequent that we get them after half month

Night Life

My favourite hangout place at the University is Law Faculty where I spend most of my time surrounded with flowers, plants and elegant nature which feels so aoothing and my time just flew away embracing myself into the nature

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.

DETAIL REVIEW ABOUT LUCKNOW UNIVERSITY

I applied for rgipt in Amethi and got chemical engineering seat in it but I declined it since I got computer science and engineering seat in the University of Lucknow which attracted me more towards it. Yes I got a rejection from some colleges due to less marks in entrance exams and enability of the correct submission of application forms obviously which was quite ridiculous. There is a uptac counselling which is held by the government agency or whatever for the admission in the University of Lucknow. There are three ways to take admission one through JEE mains 2nd days cuet and the third is direct admission based on class 12th.
