Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is very much relative to industry standards and it mainly focuses on case studies in their course as well as in their marking scheme. Along with this collage also focuses on industry exposure.
Internships Opportunities
There are multiple internship opportunities have each student received. Even few got 3 offers and they need to select one out of three. Internship tenure is of 2 months and it will ostly complete by july.
Placement Experience
Placement of IIT roorkee is actually very good, in first year most of the students had multiple offer for internship and final placement is also very nice as around 25 percent of student gets Pre placement offer.
Fees and Financial Aid
IIT Roorkee MBA Fee is 9 lakhs. SC /ST get full tution waiver. Scolarships like lower income background is available. One time caution fee is 10000. No yearly hike and also loan is very easily offered.
Campus Life
It is good, we have multiple cell, clubs and committee which work on the social aspect of society, inclusing NSS and CRY which takes case of unprivilaged and work towards their betterment. All is clubs are supported by good infrastructure.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel life is very nice, we have complete freedom to do our stuff, Loud noises are strictly prohibited as it may disturb students very seriously studing during that time. Wardens are also very supporting.
Admission
There was multiple reason for selecting this collage over other collages, main reason was student to prof ration that is very good here and other reason is less course fee compared to other collages offering MBA
Faculty
Mostly course depends is very much on practical expericence as well as indepth case studies. Exam of all department at collage happens together. And most of the prof does relative grading in the class.
Interview Experience
Yes selection process for MBA is very competitive. We had to go through group descussion and final interview round one after another. Overall process was very smooth and organising team at collages managed.
Night Life
Nightlife is very relaxing, after long days of classes and assignment, students look for relaxing with friends and during this time canteen and other get together comes handy. You will find multiple students roaming at night.
