Remarks
As a positive remark the college has got a good environment to students to enjoy their college life. And a negative remark is that the infrastructure facilities of the college is not to the level needed.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus and course requirements were exactly very much need full for the students. But the exams of first 2 semester was not conducted after completion of the portions by Calicut university. And in certain cases there appear issues like out of syllabus questions in exams.
Placement Experience
No, our college doesn't offer placements and job opportunities. But they make students attend programmes like class by reputed businessman. So that it make the students hear from a real life situations.
College Events
Magazine publication, arts, sports, allumini and seminars are usually conducted in college. Magazine publication includes publication of students self written articles. Arts includes drawing, writting different dances conducted as a competition. Sports includes football matches, cricket for girls, batminton etc. Seminars are conducted on various topics and are evaluated by external parties.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Yes, it is feasible. There exist fee distinction on the basis of caste. Making backward caste students to have good education. But to purchase books in all semesters it costs a little bit more. The fee structure for taking admission is feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
Various scholarships like central sector scholarship, scholarship for differently abled students and post metric scholarships are available to students. Central sector scholarships provided by central government gives more amount when consider other scholarships.
Campus Life
College has got computer labs to work out and internet facility to browse within. And also promotes sports games. Many players within college have elected to ISL league and Santhosh Trophy Kerala team.
Hostel Facilities
The college doesn't provide hostel facilities. Students from far away places takes hostel facilities outside. Outside hostel facilities cost around 3000 to 4000 per month, including only living accomodation.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni is conducted department vise. It is conducted every year. The funds required for it's working is made over by themselve through admission fees, donation etc. Alumni of our department provide certain programmes on their funds to improve students knowledge and skill.
Admission
I got admission through allotment published by Calicut university. Allotment was conducted on the basis of +2 marks. And the allotment also considers backward caste students, for whom certain number of seats where reserved in college. As I got my name in the allotment list, I report myself at the college with my Mark list and other documents specified by them and had my admission fee paid.
Faculty
About the faculty, over all it's average. College has got all necessaries like bathroom for boys and girls, library, play ground, college canteen, computer lab, portable drinking water etc. But the college does not got transportation facility to college, students have to walk by leg over 15-20 minutes to reach or can have an autorickshaw by paying around 30 rupees.
