Course Curriculum Overview

5

The best part about scalar School of Technology is its curriculum which is evolving at every 3 month with the industry. We have three main subjects for curriculum and one soft skills subject like English public speaking etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total tuition fees without scholarship is 16.9 lakh bits fees is 3.13 lakhs one time commitment fee is ?50000. Accommodation is 5.89 lakhs for double sharing. Total payable is 22.8 lakh without scholarship. There are mainly two types of scholarships one is brightest mind for exceptional performance in academics and second is women in tech for women who have achieved something in technology fields. They have loan partners with bank and good financial aids.

Campus Life

5

The overall experience at campus is great we have two campus micro campus which is the hostel where students stay and have fun. The other one is macro campus which is the college. We are planning on fest and events regularly which also helps the students grow and socialise overall. We do also have an innovation lab for technical experties and application of whatever we learn in classes.

Admission

I chose this college over others mainly due to curriculum and leaders like Anshuman sir and Abhimanyu sir. I was also selected in BITS, DTU and NSUT. The admission process is fairly simple you have to crack NSET which is followed by an interview round and after acing both of them you get the offer letter.

Faculty

4

A faculty is mainly engineers from the industry which follows the philosophy of doctors teaching aspiring doctors that's how engineers teaching aspiring engineers. The core structure follows a trimester rule so in a year we have four trimester and one midterm and one and one end term for each trimester. Apart from this we also have projects vivas etc.

Interview Experience

5

Yes there was an interview after I clear the exam it was all about the questions which came in exam it was kind of easy and they ask for a basic introduction then one or two questions it was failly easy but I had two rounds of it.

Night Life

4

Nightlife is fairly simple not so happening we have gym access of cult the cafeteria is the best part about our college it feels cooperat-ish. Hostel closing time is from 10:30 p.m. at night till 4:00 a.m. in the morning and we have near every food stalls , restaurants and malls so well connectivity from hostel.

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

I chose this course because I want to go into it field. The faculty is good here nothing to improve about that and the student ratio is 5:3. Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.
