Likes
- the campus is relatively large and has good greenery all around.
- the faculty is excellent , they're willing to go the extra mile for students.
- good amounts of skill based learning , technical events , pep talks etc.
Dislikes
- certain parts of the campus feels little old
- during lab sessions we have to wear uniforms which is not pleasant .
- since our batch is vtu based and not autonomous ( from 2024 onwards the college is fully autonomous) the schedule for exams is very tight.
Course Curriculum Overview
since im part of the vtu batch (2023) and not autonomous batch (2024 onwards) , vtu syllabus can feel little outdated and does not exactly keep in touch with current relevance. however the syllabus is comprehensive and vast .
Internships Opportunities
there were many internship opportunites offered from various companies cuh as infosys , jpmorgan , samsung cisco and various other companies. stuents had to complete certain certifications and projects to prove eligibilty for the internships.
Placement Experience
the placements were excellent in the start , then slowed down a little in between due to covid . Now it has picked pace again , this year 2025 we have had excellent placements over 1000+ offers , with average aroun 6-8 lpa. highest so far bein 42lpa by VISA. So placements should not be a problem , they also have an excellent plaement training cell.
Fees and Financial Aid
the fees for management quota is 4.5 lakhs per year , this includes all additional fees such as exam fees , books , uniform etc . For comedk students its around 2.7-3 lakhs per year , this is excluding exam fees and extras.
Campus Life
Campus life is great , there are many events such as pantheon , agonnes etc and a bunch of other events based on sports , cultural events , music and dance etc. , there are also a lot of clubs both technical and non technical . there are competitive programming clubs , dance and music , drama etc. There is also a well built library with vast ranges of books. the college also focusses on sports to ensure holistic development.
Hostel Facilities
the hostel rooms are big and all rooms have attached washrooms , the rooms are cleaned thrice a week and the food is prepared by sodexo which ensures great hygiene and standard levels . the fees were initially around 1 lakh per year , now has been revised to 1.45 lakhs per year and now is 4 sharing instead of 3 .
Admission
this college seemed to be a well rounded college as they have excellent faculties and have a rather good placement history. It seemed to be much better than its competitors such as new horizon and cmrit . the admission process is very simple for mq, and they also accept comedk and kcet entries
Faculty
Most of the department's faculty is excellent. they have good knowledge regarding their domains and promote active learning during class hours. during labs we have 2-3 teachers , while regular class hours we are taught by one teacher, one class has around 60 students which seems to be good and not overly populated.
Night Life
there is a well equipped gym and a nice food court offering differnt varieties of foods, there is also a big amphitheatre where students can unwind and relax . the locality is pretty safe around the college and people can be seen running around even at late night.
