Course Curriculum Overview
The course covers the important topics in the corporate world. And provides overall insight on the topics. The teaching is done with the help of technology which is good thing. As it is autonomous college the syllabus is shaped accordingly.
Placement Experience
From semester 5 students become eligible for campus placement. The companies which visited college are Deloitte, KPMG, Asian paints and some other companies. And most of the students were selected. The average package offered was around 300000 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees was paid year-wise. Instalment payment option is available. The fees for specific category such as SC, ST was around half of the regular fees. Scholarship were available for students of OBC cast.
Campus Life
The technical fest was conducted by students from IT department and it is named as Technobeat. The other fest are Spectrum, Inspira, MVM and some more departmental festivals. All these fest starts around December.The sports compition are also conducted in this fest and seperate annual sports is also organised. All the fest are organised and managed by students under guidance of teachers.
Admission
The other college i applied for are Bedekar college and Birla College. I got selected for Bedekar college but Mulund College of Commerce is specialised for commerce hence I opted for it. It is one of the top most college of Mumbai. I choose BMS because of my interest in Management.
Faculty
The faculty members are very helpful and approachable. They encouraged students to participate in events, helped students in the research work. Exam conducted every semester are bit difficult but passing ratio is good. Only few students fail in 1 or 2 subject.
Interview Experience
There were no GD, interview questions or test pattern for the admission process. The admission was based on merit basis. The HSC marks were considered while listing the students for admission. 3 list were generated.
Night Life
The college have do not have Hostel. And the campus area is limited. College has gym, Turf and auditorium. The half floor is dedicated for library. The most common area for hangout is the canteen. There are no night activities in the college as it is day college.
