Course Curriculum Overview

5

The major drawback is the old curriculum especially in Core Branches.Although It's not that old but not sufficient to get placement alone with curriculum. Frequency of exams : 1.5 to 2 months there are mid terms and end terms of a semester Difficulty level is depend on your professor although exam level is medium to difficult sometimes.

5

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Tution Fees of DTU 2024-2028 1st year- 2,36,000/- 2nd year- 2,46,000/- and subsequently increment of 10,000/- every year Hostel and Mess Fee are 52,000/- (3 seater) and 34,800/- when you got a back in any subject ireespective of semester you have to pay 7,500/- per subject . If you Family Income is above 8 lakh rupess you're not eligible to any kind of scholarship irrespective of your category. There are alot of Scholarships for SC/ST if they have family income below 8lakh. a few for OBCs and EWS also But not for any general one.

Hostel Facilities

5

In 1st year Hostels aren't that much good (they gave basically AC less Flats like hostel (boys only)) Girls got new built hostels which are fully Air Conditioned. From 2nd Year onward Boys also Getting ACs one Mess Quality is almost same in all four messes 3 proper meals served and a snack period at evening. Hostel Allotment is based categorywise 1st priority are OUTSIDE DELHI candidates. 2nd PD 3rd Transfere Case. ... the DELHI candidates which is also depend on distance. This is due to limited Hostel availability. Locality is shahabad and rohini area

Admission

I've only given JEE Mains and It is nearby although I've opted this from othe jac colleges because I'm getting Core Branch. DTU is best in Core branchs(esp EE ME ECE) I've also applied for IPU colleges in which I'm getting CSE branch But I prefer It DTU over any other college. Admision Process is easy You have to apply through Jac Delhi Website. Once You got the seat you have pay 95,000 confirmation fee which already included in you tution fee which you pay after verfication of documents. and all set.

Faculty

5

Faculty Student ratio is approx 1:24 (it includes Guest faculty also). There are alot like Prof. Naveen Kumar (with over 70 publications) Prof. Anil kumar (expertise in energy technology) Astt,. Prof Dhirendra Kumar (signal processing ) and there are alot profs which are legends.

Interview Experience

5

There is only one test required which is JEE Mains. Based on score of JeeMain you got admitted. You have just to register yourself on JAC DELHI WEBSITE. There is no need of Interview or GD. You just have to be the knowledge of JAC DELHI WEBSITE.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.
