Likes
- I like hostel Life more as college is strict and even though hostel too is but we still get enough to enjoy at hostels.
- We at DR.NGPIT are developed at the highest level as our college gives us enough to be enjoying our college life with studies and being a part of extra curricular activities as well.
- Infrastructure is top quality as hostels and labs have been upgraded two years back.
Dislikes
- One thing which I hated the most is our hostel timings as we leave from college at 4 pm but has to be back at hostels by 6.30 pm.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well nothing special as my parents and brother wanted me to take CSE but I saw the demand of AI&DS was high during counseling, so I took admission here as this felt a better choice to be honest. Now since I have pursued it for three years, I think it is imperative that I should say that I did best by choosing this course.
Placement Experience
Infosys, Wipro, Microsoft, Angel One and there we have some 100 companies last year and this year which is my final we have been started getting ready as come August and we will be found wanting at interview rounds.
Fees and Financial Aid
DR. NGPIT operates at such a huge strength as we are a top college to pursue engineering and especially if you want to pursue AI&DS then there's no college which comes close to ours and that too at a fees of just 60k per semester. Hostels are little expensive though as 1.05 lakhs a year and it includes food charges as well.
Campus Life
Our campus is good enough to accomodate 2500 students including two college as we have two colleges under same campus. Blocks are different but common facilities are shared be it Library, canteens, sports ground or the perpetual seminar halls as we have them in plenty at our campus and our events like the Tech fest Henosis also helds there.
Hostel Facilities
Our hostel rooms are great as it is three seater and washrooms are common as well. All are clean and good and has the best facilities ever because we have a study room and a common hall at the hostels campus. Guards are there the whole night.
Admission
Admission process is simple quotas you to check as in Tamil Nadu before state quota there's a city quota as well. So, since I was not from Coimbatore the quota on which I can be a part of was left to 50% of seats. Thankfully I made that list as cut-off was 81% and I had a couple more than that.
Faculty
IITians when are on board you are certain for good things to follow. This is an amazing thing as we get enough diaspora from them to be successful in not just engineering but as a whole. Soz for all this the best thing is that our faculties knowledge is in a way instilled in us as well.
Night Life
Closing off happens very early at our college as by 5pm we have to leave the college campus. However we can reach our campus by 6.30 as that is allowed but past that we have to face the consequences. Gate pass and we can be out till 8 pm.
