Likes
- I like the Teachers of my departments . Because they are very helpful and supportive in study. They give their best.
- The sports facility is good and our college is famous in many sports like cricket , volleyball in inter college competition.
- The extracurricular activities is good .And the teachers encourage students to participate in these activities.
Dislikes
- I dislike mostly in a things that there are no internship specified things . From where a student who is in 3rd year get a internship. This facility must require for better placement .
- Placement is good but there need a improvement.
- The Canteen is good but the food test is not as much as good.
Course Curriculum Overview
In my course curriculam there a scope of opportunities to move a new technology .It is easier than other departments. I have interest on software development so that i choose this department. Our curriculum prepares well to adjust with real life applications and academic pursuits. The area of improvement i think in the internship opportunities. Because there low amount of opportunities in internship. The internal exams is conducted in 2 months in a semester and the semester exam is in 6 month time . Example - if the previous semester exam is conducted in December then next semester's internal are conducted 1. march ,2.April.and semster exam comducted last week of may .
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.
Fees and Financial Aid
My Couse Fee Is 1st Sem -78300(Admission Fee ) After That Exam Fee-1200 2nd Sem- 76575(All included like tution fee , lab fee ,devlopment fees) Exam fee-1200 3rd Sem -76075(Tuition Fees, Sports Fees, Devlopment Fess, Moocs Fees etc) Exam Fees-1200 4th Sem -73575(All Included) Exam Fees-1200 5th Sem-75075(All Included) Exam Fees-1200 6th ,7th ,8th sem not paid till now because i am currently in 5th sem. So that The Year Wise Fees are 1st Year-154875 2nd year-149150 3rd year-148150 Scholarship i don't know about college . Is college give any scholarship ,i don't know about the information. I know About the w.b govt scholarship SVMCM.
Campus Life
I know there are two mai fest in my college . One is a tech fest ,and another is Annual fest. During the month there are conducted small function in my college. The range and accessibillity of books is good amount. There are some A.C classroom ,flip classes ,labs are well equipped. The sports and extracurricular activities is good . One of the best sports facility is available than neighbour colleges . There are many clubs like coding clubs etc . Some students runs the clubs .
Admission
In Wbjee counselling i select many college ,through this counselling i got this college. Admission process is two types, 1 is Direct Admission 2 is the wbjee exam Eligibility is 12th with PCM. Students mostly preferred take admission through wbjee exam. cutoff is 15-45k in wbjee exams rank.
Faculty
I think the faculty -to -student ratio is little bit good . In my knowledge the ratio is 30:1. The name of faculty i don't disclose here . But i like a sir ,who teaches well . And give good amount of information about a topic. There are no such of dislike on faculty in my department. there are 3 exams in a semester . 2 internal and 1 semester. Internals are easier than semester exam.
Night Life
There are a gym in my collge . The gym is very Affordable. The fees is very low than other gym outside the college. The campus is beautiful.And outside the college there are many site scenes available . Hostle is good. There are hoogly river near the college . There are famous durga puja pandle ITI more .
