Remarks

Positive - there's a lot, the quality of education is really good, they focus on getting students ready for the future responsibilities and job. Faculty is really good. Negative - is the infrastructure of the college which should be improved the library and the labs etc

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum can be improved a bit to include more practical topics and subjects, which will further help students in grabbing a job and help them in their professional life. Exam structure is like, there are two sessional and one end semester exam in each semester for all subjects. So in 6 months semester, exams happen at almost an interval of 2 months.

Placement Experience

4

Placement stats and history of MSIT is really good, almost all the students with no backlog get placed. A limited number of firms come to MSIT, so this can be improved, the list includes Accenture, Infosys, Nagarro, Microsoft etc. No they don't provide internships.

College Events

3.5

Only one major event was organised in MSIT, that was Avensis, which is an annual technical fest, which included technical quizzes and games along with fun games. Counterstrike playoffs were also organised along with some small games.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, comparatively to most of the private colleges. While most of the private colleges charge around 1 lakh per semester, Msit charges around 1 lakh per year. So according to me it's one of the feasible options, keeping in mind the education and placement quality.

Fees and Financial Aid

As far as I'm aware maharaja Surajmal institute of technology doesn't provide any scholarships, but in some particular cases when the administration is reached out they can help they students in either procuring a loan or some scholarship.

Campus Life

1.5

A lot of extracurricular activities are available like dance, prakriti, ieee, robotics, dance society, drama society etc. Labs are in average conditions, though all the necessary material is present, the infrastructure and equipments can be improved.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Didn't opted for hostel. But as far I've heard from my friends, the hostel infrastructure wasn't good, I've visited hostel a few times and the condition of room isn't good. Mess food also isn't any good. So, according to me hostel infrastructure and facilities aren't good.

Alumni/Alumna

Maharaja Surajmal institute of technology's alumni network isn't much active since I'm one of 2016 batch alumni I can confirm that I don't receive any update or information from their side. Senior students are very helpful though, they help you with all your college related problems be it with study or general.

Admission

Firstly, I appeared for IPU-CET, which is a common entrance examination for all the colleges affiliated with GGSIPU university. Then according to the rank and our preference, we were allotted colleges. There's also upgradation option if seats get vacant.

Faculty

4

Faculty of college is really good, they are very supportive and help students in understanding the difficult subjects too. They also organise Tuts, which is an extra class/ doubts session to revise and answer doubts of students.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
