- Since it's in all girls college, feminists ideas take over more than they should.
Course Curriculum Overview
Physical Science is a course which is not looked upon much and therefore rest all courses have two sections ours only have one. Never mind though as I feel our course don't just teach physical well being but also every characteristics that lead to that as well.
Internships Opportunities
Gold's Gym, and Universities with physical studies as subjects wer the ones who provide internships as university professors would intern us. They would help us understand the researchers done in the same field and along with teaching us they also offered us a stipend of 8 to 10 thousand.
Placement Experience
Since we are the smallest batch out of all the courses around 75% girls do get placed in physical fitness business. The gym culture is growing and also wellness companies as well. Hence this percentage will go up in few years time and I hope it happens by 2027 so that I can have a perfect role and job from our campus itself.
Fees and Financial Aid
Miranda House is an epic college and what adds to its epicness is the low fees that it commands. The best thing though is even after such a minimal of fees if you need scholarships there are dozens available to help the student who deserves it.
Campus Life
From a multitasking ground to dining hall and even a girls hostel our college also has an auditorium which is like the most modern part of our infrastructure system. Playground and gardens are beautiful but less than our labs as we have around 20 of them. Dance, Theatre, ame Music societies are there and all thes societies showcase their skills during our annual fest Tempest.
Admission
LSR didn't had this course but still ST. Stephens was my favoured choice as it is arguably a top college to pursue that. Not many DU colleges offers Science course so among all the available options of DU through UG CET, Miranda House was the best. A score of 710 out of 800 was cut-off in 2024 and this year it was 715.
Faculty
Not only women though even male professors are allowed to teach at our college which is not the case at some other girls college. So, this opens the door for best and deserving faculties to come and teach here. I love our professor Murthy the most as he has taught me like no one else and his influence on me has been of highest regard.
Night Life
Since our college is a part of North Campus Colleges, we have many colleges around us. Best hangout options was always QD's and it is still the most popular cafe around. Triveni Terrace Cafe is also there and Rajaji Momos are also two more popular food joints where most students would que up after college hours.
