- Our college hosts events in which top politicians of state and centre gives visits.
- Since our college is owned by a business tycoon, we also get various connections from our university.
- We also have a startup incubation centre at our university and some startups have been given grants and provides funding as well.
Dislikes
- Mostly all rich kids so talk is more or less about wealth at our college instead of academics.
Course Curriculum Overview
CSE with AI as a major subject as I am into sports and we have seen the impact of AI that even in a sports like tennis the Referred and the lineman are now gone and it's AI who does the controlling. So, to gain control AI is important and our subjects teaches us the same.
Placement Experience
At our college IT companies have walked in like nine pins. I am not saying they are falling for us but there's have been a steep follow through of the same. Average placements are less as of now as it is a state where not many IT companies even have their offices but some of them have nailed it by bagging jobs worth 20 lakhs and more.
Fees and Financial Aid
Well the fees for studying economics hons from JGU was close to 4 lakhs and because it was a residential campus, we had to pay another 3 and a half lakhs for staying or rather occupying residential facilities of the campus.
Campus Life
Our college has a tech fest and have top tech companies in sponsors as Infosys was our principal sponsor. The entire 17 acres of land was filled with colours and students were seen performing and dancing all throughout during our annual event. Our campus is big but maximum students are from local vicinity and therefore there are just 2 boys and 1 girls hostel as of now.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are good and intime 9 pm is also fair enough is what I feel. It's intime that doens't bother but food sometimes do as it is not aongoodt. Rooms are non AC but comfortable and even washrooms are clean and hygienic.
Admission
I applied at JEE Mains and even BITS, Comed K and almost every possible entrance available. I got this college through JEE Counselling and I made this choice as I didn't had to leave my city because the colleges I was getting I felt this much adaptability and capable SSPIMT will make me.
Faculty
Exams at JGU are always tough as merit scholarships are there at our university and therefore to be in that bracket one has to study too hard. Now our faculties does make our so vast syllabus looks easy but onus is mostly on the students. Our faculties have been economic advisors in the past and hence I feel relevant people have been hired by the University to make students learn and grow.
Night Life
Our campus has restrictions for local students to leave the campus by 7 pm and same goes for hostel studnets as they have to be at the campus premises by 9 pm. Amirt Tulya Tea centre, Didi Ki Dukan which is a proper food restaurant and Sun Shine Cafe are nearby hangoutout spots that we have.
