Remarks
A negative remark is that the canteen is not so good. Menu of food is too small. And during Saturdays, canteen is not open as most of courses have off on Saturday. There is a good remark too, college has a big sports ground.
Course Curriculum Overview
It follows CBCS rule. And as the college is a DU college, its exam are conducted two time in a year, I mean two semesters in a year with all other DU colleges. And the syllabus is updated every year on the official site of University of Delhi.
Placement Experience
According to my opinion, PGDAV College has the best placement cells of all the DU colleges. It conducts seminars and workshops to guide students how to prepare for interviews. It also conducts internship fair every year where a lots of companies hire interns and associates.
College Events
Like every DU colleges, every department celebrates its fest day where lots of compititions take place. Apart from departments every cultural society too organises its fest. It feels like month of celebration during February.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As a semi government college, the fee is not too high. Fee is to be paid once a year. Fee structure differs from course to course. For b.sc. it is 14000 per year. But for Computer Science Hons., the fee is little bit high, around 40000 per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college has a aid department for economically weak students. It refunds money, according to the financial condition of student. A student can avail any government scholarship if he or she is eligible.
Campus Life
Extra curricular activities are better than any other colleges. There are different societies which support students to perform well in every field. There are music, drama, dance, act and many more societies where anyone can participate.
Alumni/Alumna
No such alumni network, but there are some occasions when alumni visit college. And if we talk about my seniors , they were very helpful to me. They guided me how to manage college life. And also helped me to prepare for exams.
Admission
I got admitted through the DU admission procedure. First we need to fill the registration form for undergraduate admissions in University of Delhi. Then we can apply in any college where the cut-off marks are within our 12th or equivalent marks. And hence we get admitted.
Faculty
College has good faculty for Computer Science. All the professors are PhD and assistant professors are pursuing PhD. College also have good faculty for sports. But the faculty of mathematics is not too good.
