Course Curriculum Overview

The course is practically routed in real world finance applications. We have also started doing practical's on excel which improve our technical knowledge. We also read several case studies which help understand the practical implementation of theories in the context of modern business

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 16000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My tuition fee for this year was around 16000rs. There has been a slight increase from last year,when it wa around 15500. I'm not fully aware of the fees of people from other categories but assume they have certain concessions. A scholarship is also available on meeting certain income background requirements

Campus Life

I am a daily commuter and do not stay on campus,however my friends say it's a very nice area. They often go to have local street food around campus in the evening and it's a major stress busting activity. The college has several student managed societies which provided the much need exposure into the corporate world, adding value to the overall college experience

Admission

My college was my 5th preference for the course that i wanted to and am pursuing now. The admissions happen on the basis if the cuet scores and relative cutoff percentiles. My college is great in terms of the exposure one gets, dealing with people from different backgrounds pursuing different majors.

Faculty

The faculty for my course put in sincere efforts to teach and deliver the course. They are also available to connect through WhatsApp and adjust the class timings considering weather and college event situation. The annual exams held at the end of the year are fairly easy to clear and almost everyone passes

Night Life

Again as i dont live on campus have no direct experience but my friends tell me that tom uncle's maggi and Kamla nagar's chole bhature are their go to dishes. The local momos and sodas are also cherished by them

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

For admission into Delhi University, CUET exam is conducted based on your 12th subjects. Scoring atleast 750 above out of 800 is necessary to get into top colleges like Hindu, LSR, SRCC etc. Then based on the marks , you are allotted the college , there are 3 rounds of allotment.
