Likes

I really like the nature, the trees and the overall beauty.
The crowd- the children are so fun to interact with
the overall vibe- music, dance so culturally active

Dislikes

political parties campaign- the college gets dirty
no wifi or net connection, very dificult to call someone

Course Curriculum Overview

Mathematics is definately a tough course. However the readings, notes, seniors help us out. The curriculum is updated for anyone who wants to pursue something in Maths. SEC and VaC classes provide extra information also.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 16000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements are quite goood howeer they can be better. But Ramjas has a good brand name and thus securing off-campus placement is quite simpls. Delloite, EY arte the companies that generally recruit.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had paid 17,000 fees and extra exam fees was paid during exams. It depends on your subjects. The fees is quite afforadable, with the exposure and academics we get. Scholorship also exists, however I didnt apply so I dont know the details.

Campus Life

The overall campus life is great. We have society fests and MOSAIC, our college fest. The colleges comes togather as a whole to organise them and it is fun in general. There is music, dance and cultural activities always going around in the campus.

Admission

I wanted to enroll in Delhi University only. I got Ramjas in the first list and I really loved it. So i didnt update. The admission process is through CUET and everything happens on the portal itself. The process is self explanatory.

Faculty

the faculty is sweet and helpful They knwo what they are teaching and are great at what they do. They have been teaching for years now and act as second parents in college. The exams happen at the end of each semester. Apart from that internal tests take place.

Night Life

I live in a PG My in time is 10 o clock. However, for safety concerns i prefer to not go out after 7. The famous hangout places are kamla nagar and vijaynagar. Delhi lnever sleeps so the night life is fun

Placement Experience:

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Placement Experience:

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Through cuet exam, I will get this du college. There are many opportunities after this. I can also get research degree in 4th year of college. There are labs also going there. We should complete our all practicals and then check it out from our teachers.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Best college of DU for Mathematics

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

The admission process of the college is through Cuet ug admission examination, I had applied to other top colleges of The University of Delhi including Kirori Mal College, Hindu College, St. Stephen's College and Hansraj College, However my score was best suited for Ramjas and I was allocated this college during counseling process. Ramjas college experience

For admission into Delhi University, CUET exam is conducted based on your 12th subjects. Scoring atleast 750 above out of 800 is necessary to get into top colleges like Hindu, LSR, SRCC etc. Then based on the marks , you are allotted the college , there are 3 rounds of allotment.
