Likes
- I think definitely the first thing that I love about ramjas is the campus itself. The red building is to die for. Along with that air conditioned library and gym are something that are in the interest of the students with sport facilities as well.
- Second would be the crowd the inclusivity, the diversity of the people you interact with here helps you learn a lot about the different cultures.
- Flexible lectures and attendance is something that provides opportunity to work on side hustles to the students.
Dislikes
- There are no ACs in the classrooms and it gets quite suffocating a lot of times as around 60 students are to be seated in a classroom at a time.
- There is no wifi or network in and around the campus it makes communication hard.
- Faculty is not competent enough to answer the doubts of the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
In my case I have chosen very practical subjects for me and that makes the course interesting but I am still unable to understand that why are bcom students asked to study hindi and english? Rather there should be subjects that will help in actual senses and not just on the mark sheets.
Fees and Financial Aid
I feel that the studies in ramjas college are quite affordable as the fees for my course in 17098. Apart from this amount no extra amount has been charged from us and if compared to other private institutions you need to pay extra money for n number of facilities either be library, parking, labs, sports extra. This is the perks of being in a government college that you get best education at cheapest prices.
Campus Life
My overall experience with the college is surprisingly good because there's a perception that ramjas is an poltically active college so the studies must be zero but that's quite opposite I could see the proper balance of studies as well as events and social activities inthe college.
Admission
I applied for bcom and bcom hons since I am commerce student . And as per my Cuet score I got bcom prog in ramjas college. Though I was also getting admission in Sri venkateswara college I prefered ramjas over it since it is in north campus and I could not afford missing out on the north campus vibe so I preferred ramjas and so far it is worth it.
Faculty
As north campus is hyped for it's good faculty I failed to find that in ramjas because I feel that many of the teachers don't know how to answer the doubts of the students. Though the student to teacher ratio is okay and also that teachers are friendly and supportive but they fell short on the teaching part.
Night Life
Since ramjas is in the prime north campus location students will find a lot of activities to do in the night. 500 meters walk away from college there is a chain of food outlets and brand showrooms along with that kamala nagar market is just 1 km from college which again has a lot of fun spots.
