Course Curriculum Overview

5

I think that curriculum is little outdated like I am an Cse student so why to learn engineering graphics stuff and manufacturing process , welding labs in first two semesters, why not more coding classes The exams mid semester ones are easy only 3-4 questions have to be done that too most of them are theory even in physics and end sem exams I have given till now

Internships Opportunities

4

Mainly you have to apply for internships but yes college brings some companies which recruit students with stipend of about 5k to 30 k usually . Apply for out of the box projects integrating different features as much as you can Due to about 600 students in different fields of cse , it's better to apply by yourself than waiting for college internships

Placement Experience

4

Placement ratio here is a little better than other delhi colleges Obv not talking about IIT , IIIT , DTU and students get to give interviews from the starting of the final year of they fulfill the eligible criteria This year 60-70 lakhs was amongst the highest packages taken mostly by it and cse students From the 7th semester students are eligible for getting on campus placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

MAIT has about 2,00,000 tuition fees per year inclusive of labs etc . Till now no development fees has been taken from us and for the first 2 years it is compulsory for everyone to join atleast 1 society to get credits for cgpa and certificates and each society has its different fees about 500-1000 per year.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is great here , you have some or the other function going on here every second week either Ted talk or fairs or bhandara ???? . You can interact with all the fellow mates and even seniors here . All Classrooms have 2 ACs and some classrooms have digital screen and padded seats There is an eSports community, a sports community , both boys and girls common room for indoor small sports and all outside sports just maintenance is a little issue here There are many clubs for almost every passion you follow whether for coding , photography, dance , music , fine arts etc and all are very good in there fields

Admission

I took admission in MAIT because it is amongst the best colleges in Delhi. Tho i applied in all jac colleges but I was getting mechanical in dtu so not to compromise on branch I took MAIT and also I have heard good things about MAIT in terms of placements and reputation. Admission process is quite easy , fill the ipu registration form , councelling form and give the preference list , if you are eligible for mait you will get alloted and then you have to come for physical document verification on a single day alloted , that's it

Faculty

5

Faculties here are quite nice , for every 30-40 students a single mentor is assigned from whom you can ask any questions ( academic or personal ) . Faculty members are understanding and they give study material online also if you were not able to attend the lecture. There are two exams basically ,a mid sem exam of 30 marks and end sem exam of 70 marks and no other exams in between while the teacher may keep a small test in between very rarely

Interview Experience

5

Topics were mainly of hackathons , EVs group projects and how to be better next time we enter a competition Interview questions are almost entire of dsa and leetcode general problem solving skills Solving extensive pyqs , asking seniors for doubts and practising online

Night Life

5

Nightlife inside the campus is too good and beautiful during the time of fest or when winters are there Yes gym is here , library also is very good with 4-5 floors air conditioned. I am a day scholar so info about hostel but yes I have heard the mess is excellent there

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company. Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
