Remarks

Very good college. If we want to enjoy college life along with studying it is the college which suits our mindset. No negative remarks till now. So many got good paid jobs and lots of good memories.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses are good. Exams will be conduct under vtu university. Internals will be given thrice in one semester. The exams fees challen will be paid in bank. Seats will be provided alternatively with senior and juniors

Placement Experience

Lots of companies will come for hiring students. College support for internship and lot of students are getting benefit of that. Having cgpa above 6 or 7, then surely get job in good company with good package

College Events

Yearly once we will celebrate fest on 3 days. 1st day there will be ethnic day. On 3nd day there will be cultural activities, quiz and about robotics etc. On 3rd day there will be DJ night. Some new programs like telgma is started. Everything going to be every fun on learning new things and exploring.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For management it is up-to 2.5 Lakh depending upon the course we select. For cet it's below 1lakh Telecommunications -1lakh per year Mechanical -2 lakh/year Computer science - 2.5lakh Civil - 2lakh/year

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship facility is there. They will allow us to apply any scholarships it will directly go to college account and remaining amount we have to pay as fees. Loan facility is also available at college

Campus Life

Labs are good. Very supporting faculty. Using of good quality items. Sports are there like baseball,cricket,volleyball, badminton etc. We can go to higher levels. No restrictions for anything they will support in all kind of activities

Alumni/Alumna

No ragging. Seniors are very friendly and they will help us in all matters. They give us new ideas about projects. They will conduct workshops and give seminars which would help us. They all make us laugh. They will do freshers party very special

Admission

I entered by management seat. I gave 10th and 2nd pu marks cards then cet ranking seat. If we belong to SC ST then have to give caste and income certificate. In 1st year fees is much after that it will get reduced

Faculty

Very good faculty. Supports everything such as in projects, cultural programs. Teaching is very good and having library available with all books. Teachers are always there to solve any doubts regarding there teachings

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

Lower tier Engineering colleges

I had no idea about engineering , I scored very less in KCET surprisingly . I had no one for advice and people made it so obvious that engneering is the standard of education . I did not seek proper guidance and was mislead by admission sector people referring to Electronics as both software and hardware demanding sector and there is scope to grow . But in reality very less requirement ratio of electronics students exists. JNNCE was told to be better than any other engineering college near me due to it's longevity.
