It is wonderful place to spend you 3 years and finish your graduation.you can enjoy the college life but in certain department your freedom is limited.It is also a place with wide variety of Flora and finna.The college is one of greenary in Chennai.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course carriculam is excellent and well updated.In a year we have 6 internals and 2 end of the semester exam which enable us to know how much we have learnt and how much more we have to learn.you are suppose to have 75% for attending our exams.
Placement Experience
There are many campus placement.last year B.com students were recruited for an annual pay of 440000 and M.com students were recruited for an annual pay of 480000 for a Hyderabad based companies.student who have scored more than 60% was allowed to attend the interview.
College Events
The biggest celebration is deepwood.There many other activities like fresher's day for each department, inaugurations,auditions,drama nights ,octiviya etc.Deepwood is 3 day long event which is usually conducted on 2nd semester.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee depends on which stream you are studying.In aided stream genaral B.com fee is 25000 per year while it is about 55000 in the self finance stream.Each year the fee reduces.It also varies with what subject you have opted.
Fees and Financial Aid
No college don't provide any scholarships to my knowledge.But college provide information about various organizations providing scholarships.They also provide information on various part time jobs available.
Campus Life
The college management is very keen on extracarricular activies.sports for all is program designed by the college where interested students are given training in various sports events on every Wednesday.The students are also awarded grade points.There are many grounds for the college.
Alumni/Alumna
The college was established in 1860s.since then the college has large alumi associan which some of very successful personalities in the society.They are really helpful.seniors are also very friendly towards the juniors.
Admission
A week after I submitted my application I got an email saying I was selected and should do my enrollment within two days.I had to pay my 1st semester fee and do an online enrollment.when I did my enrollment I was given I d card and was admitted to the college.
Faculty
The college faculties are all good.They all are all well qualified.faculties always try to maintain a healthy relationship with the students.They always try to bring out the best in you.They also support in extra caricular activies.
