Best private engineering college for electrical engineering

Location wise best college because it is located in a smart city and in between two IT hubs. You can google about newtown. College is near biswa bangla gate, all the fecilities are there of a smart city.

Respect to MAKAUT(WBUT)'s syllabus, all subjects and each and every lab experiment equipment is there and highly educated teachers are there to guide you as a friend or as a cool teacher. This college is under MAKAUT (WBUT) and follows AICTE rules so there is a semester exam after every 6 months and 2 or more internal exams during the semester.

If you join in CSE IT or ECE department and your are just a good student , you will be placed in MNC's by campus drive. But if you are from EE department then you have IT and core both options , if you are good at any of them then you will be hired for sure. Internship and training are two different things , our college provide us training in every semester breaks and before campusing special pre placement trainings are there for you , our college also provides trainings overseas. Example- china , as a part of student exchange program.

Two fests are there cultural fest and techfest , freshers welcome program is also there and numerous number of events are there all over the year and last but not the least NSS events are also there where you can do something for the society.

As per MAKAUT norms. Around 40k per semester , for BTECH there are 8 semester. Now you can calculate for 4 years. It is neither expensive nor feasible because its a private college. Any other private college has the same fee structure and even more than that.

You can apply for a loan from any bank, college have no issues with that. You can apply for all the west bengal government scholarship schemes and college will guide you. I didn't take a loan. Due to income limit range i didn't apply for scholarship as my father was a government employee.

There is nice ground to play football ,cricket, basketball etc. College football team is there , you have to give selection trail to be in the college football team. Sports fest is there every year. I have already mentioned about labs and activities.

Seniors are very helpful and they can give you the advance signal for everything. They will guide you how to study and for your placement also. I can remember at the last betch farewell this year we all were very happy.

I got a wbjee rank and looking for a good college in EE , at the time of my college admission , i visited newtown as to see our new flat and then i got to know that this college is just 2 step away from our new flat , so i got some kind of mixed reviews from seniors but after taking admission , lots of activities got started and now i'm in final year and can suggest this college to anyone who is looking for a private engineering college for EE.

They are highly educated and a friendly nature , you can feel free to ask anything to them, they will guide you as your parents. They are always there to help you , specailly our EE department's HoD sir.
