Remarks
Positive - Good brand name along with very nominal fee structure Neagtive - Exams are bit simple so it is very easy to pass.Should be more logical and complex so that students can work more hard and gain more understanding.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was a 3 year program with exams on annual basis and the passing percentage was 40. The course is more relevant for commerce students looking out for future in Finance.Also course acts a base for some other finance courses as well.
Placement Experience
The college provides both placements as well as Internships.Infact currently I am working in an organisation called as barclays and this on yearly basis goes in DU campus for hiring.Furthet internship is also offered.
College Events
There are many events but the highlight remains the yearly fest that is celebrated in Jan/Feb wherein the college tries to bring some famous personalities like singer or dancer alongwith good food facilities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for entire delhi University is very cheap.My entire 3 year grduation was completed in around 25k which means approximately 8k per year.And also other courses are also very reasonable.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have not availed any loan or scholarship facility however saying the college fees is soo nominal that anyone can manage to afford it. However I know that people have been granted scholarship with very poor economical background.
Campus Life
The best part of College/Campus is the DU elections.Beingba commerce student I did not had a chance to visit any labs however there are good sports facilities.A proper ground is available within the college for same.
Hostel Facilities
Though I had not opted for any hostel as I belong to Delhi only however I had some friends who lived in the hostel and the feedback for them was positive.They were satisfied with the overall facilities.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are helpful and just for information there is no stuff as ragging which is shown in movies. I do not have much information on alumni network but yes I can say that seniors are supportive.
Admission
After passing my 12th class , I got 92.5% in my best 4 and hence on the basis of Delhi University cut off , I got into Kirori Mal College. My percentage was not enough to get the admission in 1st cut off list however in 2nd cut off list , I was eligible for admission.
Faculty
Thr faculty and infrastructure were good. Although there is some scope for improvement for some of the subjects faculty but overall the experience is nice. Can get through this for good knowledge and learning.
