I would rate the course curriculum at Lovely Professional University as very relevant and comprehensive one of the main reasons I choose Btech CSE at LPU was the industry oriented syllabus that includes trending subjects like artificial intelligence data science cloud computing and fully stack development the university also offers minor and elective courses that allow students to explore different domain based on their interests. The curriculum is well structured and focus on both theoretical and practical learning regular lab sessions coding challenges and live projects help us understand how concepts are used in the real world LPU also provides opportunities to work on industry based internship and research projects which really prepare students for corporate life or higher studies. Exams are conducted twice per semester one mid term and one and term along with continuous internal assessments through quizzes assignments and Viva the difficulty level is moderate if you attend lectures regularly and complete lab work sincerely its quite easy to score well. In my opinion the teaching methods could improve by including more real life case studies and industry guest lectures group projects and coding marathons could be added more frequently to make learning even more practical and engaging overall the curriculum is up to date with modern technologies and gives a strong foundation for both placements and further academic goals

LPU offers a wide range of intensive opportunities to help students gain real world industrial experience although I personally haven't done an internship yet many of my seniors and batchmates have shared their positive experiences the Universities division of career Services DCS actively connects students with reported companies for both paid and unpaid internship across different streams. Some of the well known companies that offer internship to LPU students include Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, HDFC Bank , ICICI Bank, Bosch, Tech Mahindra and Hero Motocorp. The roles generally offered are Software Development Intern, Data Analyst Intern, Marketing Intern ,Finance Intern, and Design Intern..The duration of internships ranges from 8 weeks to 6 months and stipends vary between 10000 to 50000 per month, depending on the company and performance. Students from engineering fields often work on projects like web development Iot devices or data analysts management student assets in market research digital marketing or financial planning projects these internships help students develop teamwork communication and problem solving skills many companies even offer pre placement offers PPO's top performing interns . Overall the intensive opportunities at LPU are well structured and industry oriented they help students gain professional exposure and practical skills making them more employable and confident for future careers

Placements at Lovely Professional University are 1 of its strongest points students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards Through pre placement training and mock interviews start much earlier the University's Division of Career Services Dops actively connects students with top recruiters. Every year companies like Amazon, Microsoft ,Infosys ,Wipro ,TCS ,Capgemini, Bosch and Accenture visit the campus . Core and IT sector companies offer positions such as software engineer , data analyst, cloud engineer and business analyst. In the recent placement drive the highest package for CSE students went above 60,00,000 per annum by Microsoft boil the average package remains around 7 to 8 lakhs per annum many students also get multiple offers through internships and project based hiring around 85 to 90% of eligible students secure placements each year especially in technical branches like CSE ,IT and ECE. Apart from placements ALPU encourage entrepreneurship through its startups schools and incubation center helping students launch their own ventures. After completing my B.Tech degree I plan to gain experience through a software development job and later start my own tech related business using the skills and exposure gained at LPU overall the placement process is well organized transparent and provides students with real world exposure and confidence to begin their professional careers successfully.

the yearly tuition fee for my program B.Tech in computer science and engineering is 1 lakh 40,000 per year , 70000 per semester. apart from tuition fess, there were a few one time and compulsory charges at the time of admission: Admission fee: 10000(one time, non refundable) Registration fee:2000 (per semester) Uniform fee:4000 (one time) Caution Money:5000 Examination and Lab charges: Around 4000-5000 per semester(depending on lab -based courses) so the total cost of the entire 4 year course comes around 5.8 to 6 lakh, excluding hostel or pg accommodation. Category - Wise Fee Details(Approx) Scholarship category (based on lpunest or board%): 90000-120000 per year. SC/ST/EWS Category: Eligible for government and private scholarships, so effective fee can go much lower (around 70000-90000 yearly depending on financial aid). LPU offers multiple scholarships offers based on: LPUNEST exam score Class 12th performance JEE MAINS Percentile based Gvernment schemes and private scholarships. in my case, i have applied for the bharti airtel vidya scholarship, which supports economically weaker students based on merit and need.Many students also get assistnce through education loans, and i personally have an sbi education loan of 6.2lakh (no colletral required). Considering the infrastructure, placements and opportunities LPU provides, the fees are reasonable. With available scholarship and financial aid, the net expense reduces significantly, especially for students from EWS or low-income backgrounds.

My overall campus life experience at LPU has been amazing the campus is vibrant full of energy and provides everything a student could ask for the infrastructure is word class with modern classrooms air conditioned auditoriums Wi-fi enabled buildings smart boards and advanced labs .Every block is well maintained and designed to make learning comfortable and practical. The library is one of the biggest strengths of help you it has thousands of books E journals and research papers covering almost every domain there's also an online library portal where student can access digital materials anytime the university hosts several feasts throughout the year the main cultural fest "One India" the "One World "are celebrated every March April cultural Diversity the annual technical feast "YouthVibe" usually held in February brings together students from all over India for competitions workshops and exhibitions. When it comes to extracurriculars , LPU offers great sports facilities a large stadium gymnasium ,swimming pool, indoor games complex, and courts for cricket, football ,basketball and athletics. There are more than 150 student - run clubs and societies, including coding clubs, music, dance, literature and photography groups .These clubs help students build confidence leadership skills and friendship beyond academics. Overall LPU's campus life is full of opportunities ,creativity and cultural exchange making every day exciting and full of learning experiences.

I had applied to a few colleges after my 12th including GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management Greater Noida, but I choose lovely professional university because it offered better infrastructure ,national level exposure and a more flexible academic system. LPU has a larger and more diverse campus environment with students from all over India and abroad which helps in developing communication skills and confidence in comparison GL Bazaars focuses more on academics and discipline but the placement network course flexibility and campus facilities at LP are much superior. The industry tie ups, international collaborations and research opportunities at LPU also influenced my decision The admission process at LPU is very smooth and fully online for Btech admissions are based on LPUNest Lovely Professional University National Entrance and scholarship Test or JEE Main scores. Students with 60% or above in 12th can apply depending on marks student get scholarship that can reduce fees by a big margin the cutoff for LPUNest varies every year but students with good 12 marks or JEE Rank can easily secure admission. My overall admission experience was excellent from application to counseling everywhere was handled professionally and on time Choosing help you over other has turned out to be a great decision for my academic and personal growth

The faculty at Lovely Professional University is highly qualified and experienced most of them hold Mtech or PHD degrees from reputed institutes the faculty to student ratio in my department Btech CSC is around 1225 which is manageable teachers are generally approachable and always ready to help after class or during doubt sessions. The professor focus more on practical through projects labworks and case studies I personally liked faculty members like my EC professor Mrs Anila Dingram my maths professor Mr Surendra Sir because they explain concepts clearly connects topics to real world application and guide students in coding competitions their mentorship helped me understand subjects like data structure and Python by Sonia Jessie ma'am much better. The course structure designed as per industry standards and gets updated regularly it includes a mix of core subjects electives minors specializations and live projects the exam system follows a continuous assessment pattern with mid term tests assignments quizzes and end term exams marks are divided roughly as 50% internal and 50% external. Exams are moderate in difficulty not too hard if you study regularly very few students actually fail most score decent grades with consistent effort the grinding system is relative so A performance compared to other also matters. Overall the curriculum is industry relevant and balanced helping students build both theoretical knowledge and practical skills effectively.

In my case , I did not face any Group Discussion (GD), Interview, or Written Test during my admission process at Lovely Professional University (LPU). The admission procedure was quite straightforward and transparent. For most undergraduate programs like B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, the university conducts its own entrance exam called LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entance and Scholarship Test). Admission is mainly based on the LPUNEST score or 12th board marks. Since my academic performance does not met the criteria for the admission , so i gave the LPUNEST exam and i qualified with 50% Scholarship . The process was completely online-- from application from submission to result and seat confirmation. After my documents were verified and seat confirmed, I was called to the university campus for reporting and orientation. The reporting process included document verification, hostel allotment, id card registration, uniform confirmation, fees confirmation. following that , there was a three-day induction program, which helped us understand the academic structure , university rules, clubs, and facilities available on campus. Faculty members introduced to us to the course structure , career services, and student support departments. There were no tests or interviews during this process , which made it stress-free convenient for new students. Overall, the admission and induction experience at LPU was well - organised, transparent, and welcoming for freshers.

Nightlife at LPU is active but safe Most students stay side campus after classes and relax in cafeterias gym hostels Provo parks or malls the hostel in time is 9:00 PM for boys and 8:00 PM for girls and most cafeterias and food courts like Domino's Subway and Sagar Ratna stay open till 10:30 PM the gym and Sports Complex close around 9:00 PM and the Central Library remains open till midnight. Popular hangout sports inside the campus are Unipolis, SBR Food Court ,Block 37 Cafe and Pavilion area Outside campus students visit Phagwara Market ,Lovely Sweets and Jalandhar City Center on weekends. The locality around LPU is completely safe with CCTV surveillance university security and police patrolling at night. Students usually unwind by hanging out with friends attending hostel events or playing games. Overall the night life is enjoyable balanced and secure giving students the right mix of relaxation and responsibility.
