About college infrustructure

Though there is some shortcomings interms of lab facilities, infrastructure college is good,faculties are good.If you are having good rank it is better to avoid this college. If you are getting tfw scholarship then you can think of joining this college else you can ignore.

Wbut ece course curriculum is good. You will get many things to learn there are lots of practical papers. This is a 8 semester course per year 2 semester total 4 years course. 1 st year is common among the streams. From 2nd year onwards you need to study only your curriculum. In semester you have to sit for both written and practical papers.

Placements and job opportunities are not good. No they don't provide internship. You need to find job for yourself. They will bring some companies but they are not up to the marks. So better not to rely on college for the placements.

College festival, technology festival,teacher's day,freshers celebration for first year students, are celebrated every year by the college seniors. They charge some amount to organize these festivals.

Fees structure are according to wbut fees structure. It is same throughout all the colleges who are affiliated by the wbut. If you are from lateral entry they you may have some lesser amount as semester fees.

College will not help you to gel loan. If you need education loan they you have to arrange it by yourself. Scholarship is available which is only mandatory by the govt. that is tfw scheme 1 student will get full tution fees waived and two students will get half of their tution fees waived per semester.

You can participate in blood donation camp. You can participate in college sports every year and if you get selected to college cricket and football team you can participate in wbut cup. Labs infrastructure is not up to the mark.

Yes seniors are very helpful in studying, getting placement. We don't have good alumni network though some of us are connected through social media and phone.But all same years students are well connected.

I got the admission through west bengal joint entrance examination after completing 12th. You have to sit for the joint entrance examination if you are wil to study engineering and have physics , chemistry and mathematics in +2. Based on your score you will be given a rank and after that through counselling based on your rank you can get college.

Faculties are very good but there is a lack of infrastructure. But faculti are having good knowledge on the subjects ,they are very helpful.Though there is some issues but they try their best to complete the syllabus and helped us to get a good result.
