Course Curriculum Overview
Our syllabus is UGC approved and the reason why NIRMA University Engineering Institute has been the best as syllabus is full of deep tech mechanism and our university infrastructure is also that which backs it. So syllabus credentials in a negative sense is out of question.
Internships Opportunities
McKinsey in Bangalore to Tech Mahindra in Pune are two major corporations with which our university has tie-ups for intenrships and so some students were selected for the same and that too with a stipend of 40k.
Placement Experience
From McKinsey to Hexaware Solutions, domestic and international technology companies show up at Nirma University time and again. Students in hundreds of numbers are placed from Nirma University and that too with a median of 7-8 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
Nirma University's best institute is institute of Technology and I am studying there and currently in my third year. The fees started with 2.5 lakhs a year and now it is over 3 lakhs so almost 20% hike every year. However, facilities too have been upgraded and that is why the fees is hiked. No unfair practices here be it fees or any other things.
Campus Life
NUZEAL and likewise each department host their own fest in Nirma University. Overall there are around 10 or more departments in our university and each one have their infrastructure in place. University has high rise towers, gardens and labs which are ultimate. Overall campus gives joy and the academics provided are unmatched.
Admission
I wish I could l crack the IITs as that was the plan and wish but because I couldn't get there and Nirma University right under my nose, i thought let's take admission here. JEE scores they considered and plus state quota and 12th result was also enough for me to get admission in Nirma University.
Faculty
As I have said a little bit of partiality exists as otherwise there are no questions about their teaching acumen. They are the best as they have qualification that back their teaching and their research work for the same has proved that they are more than capable of teaching us beyond syllabus. Sir Joseph Matthew is my favourite and has been the best person to have ever taught.
Night Life
There are quite many things inside our campus too as for sports lovers it's an absolute paradise. I don't live in the hostels but still I stay at the campus till 8 pm as we have state of the art sports facilities. Sabarmati River and cycling and boating there are our fun activities beyond college life.
