overall this college is one of the best colleges in comparison with another colleges of this kind in kolkata because they provide time to time guest lecture of faculties from good college and from industry and at the time of placement they provide extra classes of placement oriented
Course Curriculum Overview
this college is under MAKAUT University formally known as "WBUT" so the course carriculum is not so vast.and if we talk about ex structure ,for us we have to sit for atleast two internal exams and one final semester exams in each semester.
Placement Experience
the placement opportunities for us is not good nowadays for core branch there is not very much company coming to hire us and if some companies are coming they offers very less salary in which we can not live on that money.So students from core branch are having job in it companies no institute does not provide any internship.
College Events
there is basically only one fest organized by the institute which has two parts one is tech fest named Pragati and another one is cultural fest named Utopia.its used to organized in the month of January.
Fee Structure And Facilities
fee structure of our college is not much expensive the four year b.tech course tution fee cost only 320000. But if u go for another institute you will have to pay twise or thrice of this amount.and the facility will be the same
Fees and Financial Aid
at the time of orientation of new batch there will be many banks who setup there stalls inside the campus who guide students how to get education loans from there banks. Cvollege also provide some scholarships for students through the seperate exams
Campus Life
there is well equiped and seperate lab for different branches especially for mechanical and automobile there is huge workshop with collaboration with Volvo,Eicher ,hundai,boash,and bmw. so it's huge in comparison with another colleges.
Hostel Facilities
i will personally not recommended to opt for college boys hostel because this is 2 km. away from the college campus and also outside the campus but for girls its better to opt for hostle because girls hostle is inside the campus.
Alumni/Alumna
every department in our college have there alumni lists with all there required details. Every year college used to organise a alumni meet at the thime of fest. There we all students used to get in touch with them.
Admission
when i was in 12th in the month of feb i registered for WBJEE in month of may i sat for WBJEE according to that rank i gone through counselling by which this college was alloted to me and now i am currently studing in mechanical engineering department
Faculty
faculties are well educated experienced and done there masters from reputed institution and some of them has done phd also.every one has seperate fields like each teacher belongs to a particular subject.
