Course Curriculum Overview

5

Syllabus of Bcom and Bcom honours is really really good. If you are pursuing ca cs cma acca etc then it will be very easy for you to cover and complete the Bcom syllabus because it is designed in that way. Delhi University syllabus is really good across all the courses available

Internships Opportunities

4

Yes internship opportunities are there in our college and internship came on regular basis. But companies and stipend and role is not very good many times its unpaid internship and its just a sales role internship But if you have skills and talent you can easily grab the internship from college as well as from off campus or Linkdln Also keep your expectations low

Placement Experience

2

I was part pf placement cell since my 1st year also i was in corporate relations department which brings companies to the college so i can tell you everything. In short you should have 0 to 10 percent expectations from placement cell there is almost zero or close to 10 percent or less placement and internship opportunities. Yes companies come to our colleges but only for formality

Fees and Financial Aid

Yealy fees for Bcom is generally around 10000 per year so total 30k for 3year degree and fees is same for all category students. If you are pursuing 4th year then add additional 10k to 11k for the fourth year so total fees for the 4 year degree will be around 40k to 42k and total fees for the 3 year degree will be around 30k to 32k approx. This fees is only for Bcom

Campus Life

3

If I bring everything on the table and review my college across all the aspects then i will rate it 2.5 or last 3 stars out of 10 2.5 will be perfect for the college. College campus is very very small there is nothing in the college just classrooms and admin office and staff room and small canteen. Canteen food is good its eatable and mild tasty their Rajma Rice and Chole rice is very good its like the home cooked style. College crowd is really good you will get many talented students with widely diversified culture

Admission

Actually i gave the CUET entrance exam and my target was only 2 universities DU (Delhi University) and BHU (Banaras Hindu University). I also got selected in the Bhu banaras hindu university and it was my dream university because there was a huge campus of bhu and iit was also there and there were hostel for students. But my parents said Banaras (Varanasi) is too far from my hometown so they didn't gave me permission to go to bhu then i got only one option left and that was Delhi University and I got sri Aurobindo college in my first round list. So I decided to go there

Faculty

4

Our college faculty is very very good. Specially the commerce faculty is too good they are one of the best teachers for commerce students they teach you very good. But many times teachers are rude and don't listen to students and students problems they only want assignments test according to their time if any student is busy then they don't care. Also attendance is semi mandatory for exams. There are 2 semester exams from university level per year. Teacher takes test assignments viva online quiz for the internal marks and if you missed anything they will mark zero they will not listen to your problems. If you attend the classes daily then teachers will start recognising you and will give you extra internal marks

Night Life

3

There is no nightlife in our college. College starts at 8:15 am in the morning and ends at 3:15 pm which is the last class earlier it was 8:45 to 3:45 but now timings are changed. There are good options around the college for hangout and timepass there is very huge dda park just beside the college and many students play there relax there its a very good and big park almost 50 acre in size. Also there is select city mall and dlf mall in saket which is very close to our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
