Course Curriculum Overview

5

Specific aspects that influenced my decisions was presence of accountancy and finance related subjects in this course which I am currently pursuing also in professional career. This curriculum very much prepared for my further academic pursuits. If I suggest improvements in curriculum then it will be introduction of practical learning like online class , projects based on real world situations and less handwritten assignments which is not effective. Main exams happens in every year two times one in summer and one in winter some paper happens in morning and some in afternoon after 2:30 PM the papers are not much difficult if you study hard there is nothing beyond our books, you just have to be well efficient with your books and notes

Internships Opportunities

4

Many companies like zomato, rapido, district app and disney star entertainment, Deloitte have offered many opportunities for internship for average stipend of 15000 . There are many competition and task held for internship offer or PPO

Placement Experience

4

From 5 semester students are eligible for college placements and my college placements on a scale of 10 is 6 . It's good compare to other colleges also name of the companies that visited in our college are DE SHAW &CO, EY, AMAZON and many more. Highest package offered last year was 23 LPA and average package is 7 LPA . 45% of students get placements from campus my plans after getting my degree is to give MBA exam

Fees and Financial Aid

My first year fees was ?17400 something and I am an EWS student so my fees was less than other students of general category. Now my fees is ?18700 which is approximately 1000 more than previous year. Fees is according to caste category general category fees is more than SC/ST/OBC/EWS although OBC and EWS have same fees . There are financial aid for economic weaker sections, vice chancellor scholarship also .

Campus Life

5

My overall experience with my campus life is great I have a great peer group. Our college organises its annual fest in March and its name is 'Sabrang' it's a two days fest two and in these two days famous artists come to perform. The range offered by my college library is wide you can find every type of informative books , every course related books . Kabaddi, archery, fencing, weightlifting, badminton, football, basketball, kho kho are offered by college. There are many clubs runned by students like art club, dance club, singing club, theatre society and it has a positive impact on students life, students get motivated to join them and they get a chance to show their calibre in extra curricular activities also .

Admission

I choosed this college over other colleges because of its NIRF ranking and it's near to my home . My college compare to other colleges is really good and less strict as I have listened from other colleges also that they have more classes compare to my college. My marks were little less to get me admitted in North campus but nonetheless I love my college. I didn't applied to anywhere else other than delhi university I firstly got admission in dyal singh college but I didn't like their environment do I choose deshbandhu college and I am really happy with my choice. For getting admission in my college you should be XII pass and have cleared CUET exam also when I got my admission the cutoff was around 82 percentile

Faculty

5

My faculty members are overall good there are one or two teachers who are less polite but if we talk about whole department it's really good. I really like my teachers they are very polite and respectful and understand us . They never deny us if we ask doubts . I really like my financial management teacher her way of teaching is just fabulous I really like her . I never liked my Business maths teacher. There are total 7 exams and they are moderate nor too hard neither too easy not much students fail in there exams my course is really relevant to my professional career

Night Life

5

My college is a daytime college so campus get closed after 6:30 PM but my favourite hangout spot in my college is cafeteria, the little red Hut there offer an amazing and delicious maggie with other snacks also and after this place my favourite place to hangout is ground near Buddha statue in my college and there is a good truck outside my college and it's food is really delicious and yummy most of the time me and my friends it from there not this truck also on that lane there are many stalls and shops which offer tasty food . And the safety around my college area is really appreciable it's very safe for girls to roam around at night I have never heard any cases from there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
